End of October

Are the DVC resorts already book up for the end of October (23rd - 27th). I'm mainly interested in the BCV because of the F&W festival. I've read this is a popular time for members. TIA

Yes, and its been that way for a while.

I believe that even OKW has no availability.

We will be arriving Nov 8, made our reservation last December.

Call 'em up, it's the only way to know.

In early June I swapped from a 1 BR BCV to a BWV Studio, no waitlist, just a phone call.

We've been on the waitlist for around 3 months now for a studio at either BCV or BWV. No luck yet-- we do have a reservation at OKW though in case the waitlist doesn't come through.

Wow three months for a studio at either place?.......

I waited 7 weeks for just one night in a 1br at BCV for Oct 26th. I had called around the beginning of May, and got the 25th and the 27th-30th. The last night finally came in on July 1st.

And I had called the week before to get a studio at OKW for the 23rd and 24th. The 24th was there, but I waitlisted a week for the other.

All you can do is call, ask and get on the waitlist. And like the previous poster, get OKW if you can and waitlist on the others.

We couldn't get all the days we needed at the BCV but was able to book next door at BC conc.

I just received my letter on adding another day to my son's ressie's for 11/06 for the BCV, it took 2 month's....Good Luck with yours...

I just called for reservations on Friday for the nights of 10/25 and 10/26, and I was able to get a studio at the BCV for the first night and a 1 bdrm at the Boardwalk for the second night.

The person I spoke with told me that there were no more studios available for the second night (10/26), but that a 1 bdrm was available at all but the BCV for both nights.

I am renting my points now, and everyone wants the end of October. Last week, early, I was able to get the middle of October, but the end of October and the first week of November was sold out. If the openings were there, I could have rented out 1000 points, if I had them. This time of year is BUSY, worse than spring break, almost!

Does this mean the parks are really crowded or is it just the Epcot resort area? I had to book Oct 31st as a cash reserveration at the BCV because there weren't any one bedrooms for our last night.

I'm getting a little worried about the crowd level. One of my DD's is disabled and does not do well in crowds. She's only been during January so I have no idea of how she will react to high level crowds.

We have been going in October for 5 years now. Except for 2001 which was understandably slow. It is busy but not so much so that you feel like you are in a herd Less kids and more adults My DD went 3 weeks ago, her first trip with the masses. And she was enlightened by the lower level of "Magic" and the CROWDS She still had a great time, but Idon't think she will ever go back and comune with the great unwashed again
