While watching an old rerun (from the 1960s, I think) of the Hollywood Squares on the Game Show Channel, (yea, I know. I need to get out more LOL) one of the questions was

"You don't have an E ticket, so you can't get into the Enchanted Tiki Room. Where are you?" The answer was Disneyland.

Not that I rely on The Hollywood Squares for all my knowledge (I had to find another source when they went off the air LOL), my question is, was the Enchanted Tiki Room an e ticket attraction at WDW?

In the early to mid 70's before they went to park wide tickets, the rides had A thorough E-tickets. Tiki was an E-ticket (most expensive) at the time. Tiki was also an E-ticket attraction at Disneyland starting in 1963 (when Tiki opened).

I think you also need to remember there was only 1 park in those days. The Magic Kingdon and every ride had a wait. Before Epcot opened I remember just about every ride would have at least an hours wait during busy times.

And, Tiki was considered quite an amazing accomplishment back then. Audio-Animatronics were new.
