You know, considering this was only my second trip since joining the boards (and the first came only a month after so easy to omit), yeah, I've been very lucky. AND, there's still many more to come.

I'm with you, the Jammin' Jungle Parade is not my absolute favorite. I will watch it this next trip with my niece (maybe) but I've only ever watched it once. It's not like FOTLK that I have to see each trip.

Magic shots are so fun! I love getting into them too, but it's no fun to hurt someone. I'm glad Em was okay. My friend doesn't always quite get into them and it's not fun.

No worries, I do that all the time.

It's funny that whenever Disney closes something, I get upset, but this doesn't bother me at all. But this occasion was a little more special given the pleasant company I had.

Haha, I think she was only half serious as she was laughing about it the whole time. But yeah, Magic Shots are serious business.

I am super amused by the tiny park exit signs too. I mean, they're really trying to not lead you out

As I said in Marie's TR I am really worried about those trees! They need to be relocated because they're super beautiful. Like, really. I will find a place myself if I have to.

OMG Amber it's hysterical. They're so tiny. I had to use my zoon lense to capture it.

Honestly, I think they'll find a home. But I totally get the thought about taking them yourself if they're not going to be used. I felt the same way about Spectromagic when I found out they completely destroyed the floats. Like, you could have just given them to me!!!

I was pretty excited to meet a rare character. But have no fear, nobody has to like everything. But c'mon, try and tell me you didn't cry when they stopped drawing the deer.

You know, I think that will be the tell-tale stop date, since they haven't given a specific end date just yet (that I'm aware of). Lion King reopens... bye bye parade.

YAY INDEED!!! They'll be coming fast and furious now.

I'm really bummed that I will be missing FOTLK this trip. But, I agree that I don't understand the whole FP+ for shows thing. Doesn't make much sense to me.

I think a lot of people are pretty saddened by it's hiatus. It really takes a lot away from AK. Oh yeah, FP+ for shows. It makes no practical sense, but I guess they have to offer FP for something since you can only use one per attraction.

Exactly. She's a tough girl so I know she could handle it. But flying away would have been awful and I just could not let that happen.

You are absolutely correct when you say that I would love Christmastime @ Disney, and that's pretty impressive considering we've never met! I ADORE Christmas. I very kindly remind everyone how many more months we have to go on the 25th of every... single... month. They hate it

Oh my goodness. I have tears in my eyes. Mainly because you're correct... I never would have noticed. Wow. Between this and the pants-less Adam, I'm not entirely sure this is the appropriate direction for Disney to be headed in.

On the other hand, I'm not convinced THIS is the direction they should be headed in, either! You like what I did there? LOL. *groan* I am SO not excited by this at all. I'm willing to admit that the concept art I saw was very, very cool. But I can't even muster up an ounce of excitement. Not when there is so much that could be done with Star Wars. Oh well.

The balloon magic shot is sweet though! There are a lot more of them than I realized. Someone else posted one over by Crystal Palace holding Prince Naveen in frog form... first time I'd seen that one, too!

Those trees are fabulous Sue. I just can't imagine AK without them, so they better find a place for them next year. Thumper was a HUGE surprise.

My honest opinion on the whole Avatar thing... I think it's going to be mind blowing. I'll just ignore the fact that it's Avatar and pretend it's just a really cool looking area, lol. I am with you on the Star Wars front though. They need to get on that ASAP.

I'm so bummed that we didn't make it to FotLK one last time. As you know we had coordinated FP+ but our lunch ran longer than anticipated so it was time for the parade. Your photos capture some of that magic. I look forward to the re-open but man, I sure wish I had seen it this last time in the old theater.

You know, I had heard about the odd Thumper sighting, but had never seen him myself, so I was pretty darn syked when I saw him. Brenda, I think any "Tough Guy" image I had is long destroyed. And as this TR continues will be torn to absolute shreds.

I know, I was bummed you didn't make it too. But considering the main focus of your trip was DIS Dining, that had to take precedence. I am glad I got to see it one last time before the re-location.

OMG just thinking about the fact that we literally walked the entire parade route before ending back at almost the exact spot we left just kills me. But yup, definitely a good spot.

I've been waiting to post that frankly since I took the photo way back in December. I knew exactly what I was gonna do even then.

Yeah for DISmeet! I bet there is a thread somewhere about Magic Shot injuries. Hmmm maybe threatening suing is how they got access to Cinderella's suite

The "FP+ for thing that don't really need it just so we have things for people to pick" is definitely one of the bad parts of FP+ - especially when it makes the overall queue less efficient.

Yeah, the FP+ rules REALLY show the limitations at the Non-Magic Kingdom parks. Just not enough legit FP attractions.

Honestly Alisha, I just find it funny. I just wonder how many people are over the moon excited that they have a FP for a show that has zero benefit vs everyone else. But... perception is reality.

That was the highlight of the parade for me for sure. I am curious if they even have anything planned, as I've heard nothing at all other than some night-time stuff way in the future.

I sincerely hope they find another place for those Christmas trees this year now that Camp Minnie-Mickey is no more. They are a really great holiday touch, and the backs of the parks are already so sparsely decorated as it is. It would be a shame if they got rid of them!

Mom and I really enjoyed looking at those trees when we went in 2012. It was fun trying to figure out what tree belonged to which character. Of course my favorite was the Pluto tree. They better move those trees somewhere else this year!

Cute picture with Thumper. I know you could find him occasionally back at Camp Mickey and Minnie but I don't think he meets any more since that area is now closed.

So sad to see the FOLK shows. I LOVE that show and missed it a lot in February. They better not change it, that's all I have to say!

I have never seen the AK parade and now it's looking like I never will as I don't think we will make it to AK at all in May.

They are so much fun and somewhat undiscovered by many I think. But I have little doubt they'll find a new home.

I actually have a soft spot for the Jammin' Jungle Parade but it's because of my kids. Our first family trip in 2002 just included my oldest two sons as my youngest wouldn't come along for another year. But they were 4 and 2 years old at the time and they were jammin' to the music from that parade. It was adorable! So I'm going to miss it this summer but I probably couldn't get them to dance anyway now that they are 16, 14 and 11. HaHa!

We actually ended up in a pretty good spot all things considered. We stayed seated to not block those in behind, so the angles were a little low, but overall, not bad at all. PLUS, you can't beat that lovely company.

Hahaha, well I guess should feel good that you need to ask. It is 100% fake. The picture itself is from my camera taken while the PP photographer was setting them up. And yes, the pose they did was for a Stitch Magic Shot.

ANYWAY! Love those Christmas trees at Camp Minnie-Mickey! So jealous you got to meet Thumper, great pic! And great FOTLK & Parade pics! Hooray for DISmeets too!

BAHAHAHAHA, I totally saw it and knew instantly this it was meant to be posted in KHERTZ's TR But don't worry, I've done that before too.

But I'm still gonna answer anyway since I had already jotted it down... and I found it so funny!

FINALLY the Flynn meet INDEED!!!! It was FANTASTIC as you can see by the photos (though I took absolutely none of them nor the video nor had anythng to do with any of it). BUT Eugene was getting a little nervous since Rapunzel was getting that "I WANT A BABY" vibe.

ANYWAY, now back to current. Yes those trees need to find a new home or be sent to me. Thumper (Or as I now call him "THUMPA") was an awesome surprise. Thank you on the pics, but the DISmeets had to be the highlight for me.

I can't wait to hear about the Illuminations Cruise. I have thought about doing one so many times, but without friends to share the boat with...the cost has always been prohibited. One day, One day.

No you absolutely can not! Any time meeting them together is special, but in those outfits, priceless.

It won't be too long now. I will say that it was everything and more than I'd hoped. And yes, I hear ya about the cost which is another reason I was so very fortunate to get this invite. I probably would never have done it otherwise.

Absolutely LOVE Festival of the Lion King! What an amazing show!

I was cracking up at being the parade before the parade! Looks like yall had some good spots... and it's always nice to be able to sit down and watch instead of having to stand behind people.
