Plan to hit MK on Friday 3/25 for EMH when the gates open at 7am. Our plan is to do SDMT first as our fast pass isn't until later that evening and then Tea Cups with DD while husband heads to BTMR (he can't ride Tea Cups). It looks like BTMR isn't operating until 8. Is that usually the case with EMH? Do people start lining up for BTMR before it starts operating at 8 even though EMH is at 7?

Only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland attractions will be open between 7-8AM.
That is the normal situation for AM EMH at MK.

People won't be lined up at BTMRR or Splash Mtn. until at least an hour after regular park opening time (sometime after 9AM, or so.)
Guests just don't tend to head back there very early.

I think only FL and Tomorrowland will be open for EMH. Other lands will be roped and guarded by CMs. Some will gather at the rope prior to opening htat land to be first to ride.
I'd do SDMT, PP, Space, and other higher demand attractions, before Tea Cups.

BTMRR will more then likely be walk on or close to it until about 10ish maybe even 10:30

Since we're talking about a 7AM EMH day (with correspondingly much heavier crowds, in general,) I figure that you need to move that time up by about an hour.

Oh wow, I had no idea Fantasy and Tomorrowland were open only for EMH. That changes my entire plan for an upcoming trip; planned to go to Adventure/Frontierland first. Glad I found that out now.

Sorry to hijack, OP!

In this case, maybe venture to Fantasy or Tomorrowland attractions, then hop on the train (when does it start running? @Robo ? lol) to Frontierland when the park opens to everyone?

Yes, WDW Railroad starts at regular park hours.

ok I needed to use my computer and not my phone to relay

so last year at christmas I went to disney the park opens a lot of the time at 7 and it really only got crowded around 10:30 11

so yes the lines were much shorter the close to 11 it got the longer the lines were but I think then BTMRR had a 20 minute wait at 10;15

here is why I think this is most people are on vacation ( I know who would have thought a vacation at disney) most people do not like to get up early on vacation ( again please to not tell people that early is better) then for some reason people do not think hay the park opens earlier then 9 they want to have a good hardy breakfast before coming in to the park witch takes longer. so a good number of people ( notice I did not say every one as there are some smarter people that show up early) but then there are the night owls.

but I should say and I think we all need to remember is that we can all have different exsprince there are people that say you need a FP for living with the land ride at EPCOT have never seen it more then a 10 minute wait but they are so sure you will need one as the line will be so long.

so this just might be one of those my exsprince is different then yours and that is fine Ithink the OP get that the line will not be long first thing and they can easley do a ride or 3 and then go over to BTMRR and not have that long of a wait
