How do evening EMHs compare to the old e-ride nights? Do you still have to get a wristband? I am not familiar with the new system, thanks.

They really aren't anything alike. EMH is for all resort guests and yes, you do have to get a wristband to ride. There is no extra charge. They have been very crowded, especially at MK and really not worth the effort in my opinion.

E-ride nights were a separate-ticket event and they limited the number of tickets sold so you weren't subject to massive crowds.

AK's EMH night is cool because it's a park that usually isn't open after dark and it looks neat lit up. Epcot was OK, but World Showcase is closed so everyone is riding MS, TT and now Soarin'. I didn't do MGM.

Bring back E-ride nights!

Yes, you have to show your resort ID and get a wristband. I've only attended one evening magic hour night at Epcot, and it was packed. We walked on Mission Space, only because we arrived minutes before 9:00 with most folks waiting for Illuminations. Other than that, there were rather lengthy waits, including 1.5 hours for Soarin. I would rather pay a little extra for an e-ride night and have the park less crowded. I've seen some posts that report the extra evening hours were great, other reports not so great. It may depend on the season. I think since it's free, resort guests are piling into that particular park. And if they don't have the park hopper feature, they've piled in for the day and night.

This was what I figured. I really did enjoy the ERNs......

Thank you!

The old e-ride nights were only at MK. EMH is at all 4 parks.
