Okay, the GREAT news is that we got a ressie for CRT breakfast on our very first morning at WDW (Sunday, May 15th).:jumping1:

The not-so-great news is that it is for 8:30 a.m. and that day is EMH day, when the park opens at 8 a.m. If we are there when the park opens, will we have time to do anything in Fantasyland or should we just "chill" on Main Street and wait for our breakfast time? The party will be myself, DH, and DD4 and DD2.

Just curious. Thanks
Diana

I just did the same thing today, I got PS for 8:10 on the 3rd of June (which is an EMH day). About 10 seconds after I hung up I realized that this will mean we miss out on the EMH. Soooo I am calling again tomorrow to try for a PS on the 4th... I really wish my brain would work better at 6am! A late seating would have been perfect and I could have gotten one I bet, I was talking to a CM at 7:01 EST.

I started a thread this morning called something like CRT and EE touring question. Most of the advice was to try to get another PS because with little kids the EE (or EMH) is the best.

I do think since you will be right by the castle, you will have time to do at least a couple of Fantasyland rides, as long as they are short - ie: I would not do Small World or Mickey's Philharmagic.

You might want to do Dumbo, Peter Pan and the Carousel - in that order - IF you can squeeze all three in. Just be there RIGHT AT OPENING and truck it back to Fantasyland, then go through the back of the Castle, which is where the seating hostesses are stationed.

Ideally, you would want the LATEST time available so that you can get through your first two hours with minimal lines and then be able to relax and enjoy your meal.

Maybe try to get ressies on another day when there is NO EE and get the earliest CRT available - 8:00 AM I think- We have also done this and it is soooo cool to walk down Mainstreet - BY YOURSELF. This is your best bet - IMO.

Good Luck!!

I would not stress about it too much since it is a Sunday morning. The past three years my family has gone in May and we always go to the MK on Sunday mornings because it does not start to get crowded until about noon. With 8:30 ressies for CRT you wil probably be out in about 1 hour which still gives you about 2 1/2 hours before the crowds start. Of course EE was not on Sunday ams the last three years so maybe that is the difference. I would try to do Dumbo and the carousel first though because they may not be good right after eating. Try to do Peter Pan early also and send one person to get fast passes for Winnie the Pooh (you can probably get Peter Pan fast pass at the same time as the fast pass will probably start shortly after you get the pass) as you are checking in for breakfast.
Also it is really fun to be at the gates for the opening( be there at least 15 minutes early because the crowd starts to build fast). Last year Mickey and a bunch of other characters arrived by train and said good morning right before the park opens. That holds some folks up as that is actually a good time to get a few autographs and pictures with some of the characters that may be hard to find at another time. May is great though because in the last three years the longest we ever had to wait for ride was 15 minutes, using fast pass to our advantage. That said if your daughters want to see Ariel, I would be there 15 minutes before the Grotto opens as we have waited over 30 minutes for my niece to see her more than once.
I envy you going in May, we are going in early August this year because of scheduling problems and I am dreading the crowds. Have fun, breakfast at CRT is great!
