Emeril's or Tchoup Chop?

Can anyone tell me about these two restaurants? We'd like to try one and can't decide between the two. Thanks!

I have eaten at Tchoup Chop and peered in the door at Emerils. While I did not have an interest in eating at Emerils, I loved Tchoup Chop.

Loved Tchoup Chop, didn't care for the menu at Emerils. We do not have really upscale tastes and were not interested in the Emerils menu, so we had pizza at Emerils which was just Ok, nothing great. The Tchoup chop menu had more foods we would eat and it was delicious. The service is great and the atmosphere phenomenol. Emerils was more of a good service, but bland atmoshere with white tableclothes and nothing really memorable for us.

I have eaten at both Emeril's and Tchoup Chop (2x at TC). While both of these restaurants were fantastic, we prefer Tchoup Chop for the atmosphere. When we had dinner at Emeril's (for my 50th birthday) we were seated upstairs and it didn't really have much atmosphere. The food, however, was excellent.

On our last two trips to Universal we have had dinner at Tchoup Chop - delicious and the atmosphere is outstanding. I recommend Tchoup Chop.

I've never ventured into Emeril's simply because the cuisine doesn't sound appealing to me and the prices were even LESS appealing!

I did make the trek to Tchoup Chop and LOVED it! Would definitely go again!

Thats exactly how my wife and I felt Robin. I don't mind paying for a rare dining experience like this, but the menu was kind of scarey to us. We must be uncouth or something.
