I saw on one of the threads a mention of a " Dining Info Session" - sounded like this is where you could go to find out who your servers were etc... And that at the info session different table's were set-up where you could speak to different restaurants. For example, there was a table for Palo where you could ask questions, put in special requests...

I have only seen this mentioned on 1 thread - is this normally done on Disney?

Yes, on every cruise they have a place where you can go. Typically it is for "dining changes" and not a real info session. The room is typically in 2 sections -- one for Palo (and Remy for Dream/Fantasy) to make or change reservations and the other for regular dining. The regular dining is typically a smaller line. Yes you can go and check who your server will be and what size table you will be at -- and if you can get past the people waiting for the adult dining, it can be fairly quick. It's good if you want to make sure any special requests or dietary notes have been put on your reservation. If you already have a Palo reservation and just need to make a special request, I might wait until the end of that dining changes session to speak to the Palo manager -- those lines can be long -- go have lunch first then go back to put in your special request.
