Embarassing Things Seen

Back in my bikini days, I was swimming along in the lazy current part of Stormalong Bay when suddenly my bikini top opened up! I tried to hold it together with one hand behind my back and swim for the ladder at the same time. I hadn't realized how strong the current was til then. Also, the water was pretty deep. I scraped the top of my foot on the sandy bottom and still have a scar from that. My husband and the lifeguard had a good laugh as I was trying to climb up the ladder with one hand. I, however, was NOT laughing at the time!

Speaking of Europeans...
I about died when we were in London, and went into the phone booths there to call our parents back home. Every booth we went into was wallpapered with ads for these buck-naked prostitutes! Very, very odd...
One of my roommates in college was French, and she and I went sunbathing on the front lawn of our house one afternoon. We both lay down, and she started to take her top off! We had a road right in front of the house, and I was absolutely shocked. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!? She just said, in that accent, "You do not do this here?" Heck no, Baby, you're in the good old US of A now!

Yeah, Europeans--always getting naked!

Just Kidding, no offense to all them out there. But yeah, don't be suprised if you ever travel there and go to the beach ...anyhow, that's pretty funny.

I'm not sure if this is embarrassing or just gross. We were having tea at the GF and the woman sitting across from me was enjoying her strawberries and cream just a little too loudly. I know the food is delicious, but geez do you have to share the sounds of it with the entire place? Anyway....she got down to the last strawberry and she dropped it on the floor. She actually said quite loudly that the five second rule applied. I was totally grossed out. Do you realize how many people's dirty shoes have been on that carpet under that table? I guess what really got me was the lip smacking sounds of her enjoying that dirty germ covered strawberry. I am glad people enjoy themselves, but I guess I expected more manners at the tea. Believe me it was not a pretty site seeing her struggling to get that strawberry from between her feet and the table legs and the couch she was sitting on. I have to wonder how some of the CM's feel about lack of manners in the restaurants!

Lack of manners is right - not an embarrassing moment for me or at WDW, but this afternoon my DH & I went to lunch & while sitting there the woman at the table next to us belched so loud I thought our table shook!!

She started laughing, along with her friend that was with her. I was embarrassed for the both of them. Almost made me lose my appetite.

I think one of the most embarrassing things for other people at WDW is showing too much skin that you shouldn't be showing at the pools or water parks. YIKES!!!

Melsmice I agree, I think the most embarasing things at WDW is people showing far too much at the swimming pools.

Heather, I know what you mean about the phone boxes in London but please do not think that the majority of English people find this acceptable, we do not! However have you ever been to Las Vegas? What shocked me most there was walking down the strip in the evening. There are people literally every meter or so shoving those types of flyers into your hands!

Yeah, those are front and center in London.

How about all the large elderly women wearing a bikini top that is way too small for them walking around the park. They always make me think, "Did you really put that on, look in the mirror, and say 'Yeah, this looks good'?" A word to the wise, unless you are a pretty, curvy young thing, wear normal clothes at Disney World, and nobody will even notice you in a negative way!
