I am pretty sure that I know the answer to this questions just hoping that I am wrong. A couple of months ago I ordered the planning DVD for my dsil (we are all going this summer) and yesterday I received an email with a code I just noticed that the email was in my dsil name. Is it safe to assume that I can not use this code. Please someone tell me that I can use it.

No one on these boards will know this answer for sure (they can only tell you what they think, or what they heard, or what they were told) just call Disney and ask. All they can do is tell you no. You may get lucky. If it was me, I certainly would try, no matter what anyone else suggests. Post back and let us know how it works out for you.

you have given me some hope. I could really use the discount we really wanted to upgrade to deluxe because my dsil is staying at the poly and we would really like to be with her. I am going to call and find out, I could use a little pixie dust right now.

This has happened to me in the past and I have been able to use it. {My mom (different last name) received a postcard} I had to call several times but the right cm can apply it.

ok I just got off the phone and the cm said that only my dsil can use it. I think that when I book I'll try to use it maybe I will get a cm that will let me use it.

I am writing to encourage everyone to certainly call. I did a grand gathering two years ago. We had four rooms booked in different names. All three others have received codes but me. I was told twice by CMs that I had no code attached to my name. I called back today to see if a code might possibly be attached to an old phone number or address and was told no need to look - I had the code under my current info. Now to start planning.

Am I correct to assume your dsil is going to WDW with you? I believe he can book the rooms at the discounted rate for all of you. Or else, as the others have said, you can call Disney back and explain you are all going, including your dsil. Let us know what happens.

The OP ordered a disney planning DVD on the disney website for her dsil and received an email with a discount code in her dsil's name. So perhaps that is how she/dsil received the discount offer, though the offers seem to be random.

How do you register to get these Email codes? I am new to Dis but have been going to WDW since 1983 with DD, DS and then DGS.Planning trip for Jan 2009. Last trip Jan 2007. Wish I was there now
