Email received after Waitlist filling!

Today, for the first time in forever (maybe ever!) I received an email notification when a waitlist filled. Anyone else? Maybe there actually was an upgrade with all the changes going on?! Or maybe just a fluke. It certainly was nice to find out about it and I would love to see it be a new feature.

I've WL a few times and can't remember not getting an e-mail from them.

We were at VGC last 4th of July week and had another trip planned for there around Christmas. We had one night waitlisted for the Christmas trip and it came through while we were there in July.

We got an email about it which we checked one night back in the room, and that was a nice surprise.

On the day that they switched over to the new website I noticed that I had another waitlist that had filled and I had not received an email on that one but did not know when exactly it happened - I guess I can look at the history to see exactly. That was in my other UY so maybe there's just something not set correctly in one. Up until the announcement of Claire Bilby leaving I hadn't received any emails from DVC beyond when I made a reservation for 2-3 years.

I had read reports of others not receiving emails on waitlists so I didn't realize that also was a hit or miss situation too. I guess I still can't count on it happening.
