I love Ellen so I'm hoping it's a good addition. Though I can't ever imagine her being anything but nice to the contestants.

I didn't either.... but I'm looking forward to it! Ellen is such a fan of the show and I love her sense of humor. She can also be compassionate. I think she will be much better than Paula.

She's a stand-up comedian, does she really have that much knowledge about music?

I thought she was horrible as a judge this past season when she was there. At least now I know if I bother to watch this show again it won't be live - it will definately always be on the DVR so I can fast forward what the judges say. Does Ellen even know how to sing or have a musical background???

I love Ellen as a comedienne...as a judge I guess I'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Well i don't agree with her morally, politically and then there is the annoyance factor. I just don't like talk shows and wannabe comedians. She is not funny. I don't see what she has to add to the show. They should of just kept it with Randy, Simon and Kara.

This is like Dennis Miller hosting MNF. I guess if you liked that you will like this.

I liked Ellen as a guest judge on SYTYCD during season 5 this summer but I like Ellen. I like her jokes, her personality and her ride in Epcot. <--I'm probably one of the few, lol.

I like her too, just feel someone associated with the music business would be a better choice as a judge.

Me too. Although I didn't see her as a guest judge. I always enjoy the little movie she does about fossil fuels & Jeopardy, although they didn't need to add her to the dinosaur exhibit. Hopefully she'll add some interest & fun to the show.

I didn't know she did a guest judge spot last year. I missed that episode.
