We’d like to watch the pageant from the campground so I checked the calendar and the time is as follows: is it really 90 minutes long?

That time range is for all of the Bay Lake resorts. Fort Wilderness is the last stop on the route and, as GADisneyDad14 said, it's generally by the Fort marina at 9:45 but there is an allowance made for any delays during the pageant route on the lakes.

Estimated schedule

• Disney's Polynesian Village Resort: Approximately 8:45 PM
• Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Approximately 9:00 PM
• Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Approximately 9:30 PM
• Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground: Approximately 9:45 PM
• Disney's Contemporary Resort: Approximately 10:00 PM
• Magic Kingdom: Occasionally visible around 10:20 PM, but this depends on the park's extended hours

Arriving 10 minutes early to watch from Ft W would work fine.

One time we took the resort boat back to Poly around 9pm, and they paused our boat out on the water as the Electric Parade passed. That was fun watching it from on 7 Seas Lagoon.
