Can anyone tell me about the Electrical Water Pageant in the Seven Seas Lagoon? Is it worth the time to watch? We are not going to a park our first day, and thought this might be something to entertain us for a bit, as well as being a no cost sort of entertainment. Any opinions?

It will be more entertaining for the kids than the adults. It is cute, but not one of the more entertaining events at WDW. If you are close by and need to kill 20 minutes, then it is worth the time, but if you are at MGM and suddenly remember that you need to rush over to WL or FW to see the parade, then I would say to stay put at MGM and enjoy the evening. It also goes on every night so no need to make special plans or change your plans to see the parade.

I find it's a nice "closer" to a busy day at WDW and it is an event that you can watch with the kids, while they are quiet and relaxed.

I would go to see the fireworks at MK more than once, but I'm not sure if I would go to see the water parade more than once.

It was cute, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. I saw it from our hotel room window as kids were sleeping and it was a great Disney moment for me. If you have dinner at one of the hotels where you can see it from, I would stay long enough to see it.

Its a fun way to sit and relax after a long day. Its worth seeing. Hope you enjoy it.

I saw it last yr and the word that came to mind was cheesy. I definately wouldn't go out of my way to see it and wouldn't go at all unless I was combining watching it with Wishes which is well worth the time to see from the Poly beach.

I like it. We normally stay at the Grand Floridian so I think it is just something that we enjoy seeing from the hotel. I do not think I would go out of my way to see it otherwise. It is just a neat little thing.

We rarely miss it when staying at a MK resort. It was an added surprise to our very first WDW experience in 1977. While at the CR, we heard this special music blaring in the dark out over the lake and suddenly the lights of the floats came on, we were awestruck. Everyone on the beach applauded and we couldn't wait for the next night to see it again. It was like our own special show, treat for picking one of the MK reosrts but back then, there was only the CR, Poly and FW areas.

Even now, when we stay at the Poly or WL, we make it a point to catch it as many nights as we can, it just Disneys way of saying, good night. For a little tid bit, its been running since the beginning of WDW, some music has been added and nary has missed any nights, except for some hurricane damage, I believe last year, for a while, I'll be corrected on this by other posters.

If you're staying in a MK resort, ask, and then wander out to the lakes too see it.

We saw it on our first trip in the early 80's and as another poster said, we were awestruck! It was such a Disney moment and FREE.
That said, it is just a little show, no where near the size of say, Wishes or Illluminations or Fantasmic.
I would not make a special trip from afar to see it, but next week when we are staying at the Poly, I hope to introduce it to my granddaughter as a special Disney memory.

Can anyone tell me how to see it if I am staying at CBR? I am guessing it is not near me, right? So, what about near WL? We happen to be having a late ADR there one night (7pm). When does it start or is it late? (MK closes that night at 7 due to a Grad Night)

Thanks!

The EWP is on Seven Seas Lagoon. You would be able to see it from WL, but it is the 9 -10 PM range. Guest Services could tell you exactly what time it passes bye. We saw it about 9 from the Poly in October.

From CBR, you will have to goto a resort around the MK. In my opinion Poly is the best place to see it from. We stayed at CBR and went to see it.
