Well, kinda. He is still CEO of WDW but former Senator George Mitchell is now Chairman of the Board.

I dont know if thats any better. I am happy to see the board heard the cries of the stockholders and made a quick decision.

Wonder if Mitchell will give himself an 8 million dollar bonus the same year he lays off one thousand cast members?

What bothers me is that Mitchell also had a large vote (23% of no confidence) so why make him chairman.
 
IMHO, it's now gotten to a point where the CEO is becoming "king" and people are just ready for a change. Out with the old in with the new. Don't know if that's a good thing or not, but it can't hurt too bad to try, eh?
 

In my opinion, this means nothing will really change, and proves the board doesn't really care about what the stockholders think.
