How do I find out the EE days for October? And, why is it NOT a good idea to go to that park on that day if I'm staying off-site? Or, do I have my info wrong?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks...

The only reason you have read to avoid the parks with early entry days if you stay offsite is that park tends to be more crowded that day. If you are staying in WDW it's a good idea to go to the EE park and then park hop to a different park, but you can't do that if you stay offsite. it's just easiest and safest to avoid that park and go to one of the 3 parks that didn't have EE. I'm sure you can find out the EE days on the main DIS page or Debs page, possibly even the WDW page. I'm sure someone else will help you out with a specific link! You could always try google.

The days are the same year-round. If you are staying off-site, you are better off avoiding EE parks (at least in the morning) because of the crowds that show up for the EE from the Disney resorts. In October, you will be fine showing up a little before the parks open on non-EE days and getting a head start on the crowds.

If you ARE staying at a Disney property, EE is most useful at MK (especially if you have kids who want to do Fantasyland). EE's at other parks are okay, but you should check the list of attractions to see if it's worth it for your. I try to do at least one EE during our visit and they're usually successful if we get there early enough.
