ECV vs people rant

We went to Animal Kingdom yesterday. My husband always rents an ECV. Because it was so hot and because the park is so big and I have trouble walking long distances (more exercise starting today) I rented one too. It was so amazing how many people walked right in front of me and how many people simply would not let me move.

One man dragging a child of about 2 came from my left and dashed across right in front of me without a word of warning. I almost hit the child. I screamed at him and asked him how he drove a car. NEVER AGAIN.

I try to stay far away from them, especially since I was hit by one when standing still on a sidewalk and since I was coming out of Haunted Mansion to find a woman repeatedly running into our stroller, knocking it down, pushing it. I was nice about it, but realized later when I went fold it up, the frame had been bent and it wouldn't fold properly

People are rude. They think that if they're physically capable of getting somewhere before you do, even if it inconveniences you, then it's fine. I've never rented an ECV or wheelchair, but I have a knee problem that generally flairs up at WDW, and I've had to walk around with a noticable knee problem there a few times. You'd think people would be nice since I'm having obvious problems walking, but they just run into me. They do the same thing now when I go shopping since I'm pregnant. I guess they figure I might be kind of slow, so they just run into me trying to get in front of me.

I hope you had a good trip in spite of that.
