Econolodge

I stayed there for one night in mid june 2005 so I don't know why it wouldn't be open. Basically it's a cheap motel with what seems like hundreds of rooms, it's really big. It was probably a real popular motel in Disney's early days, before all their hotels came in to play, since it's on 192 just west of Disney's entrance. There's a Black Angus restaurant right on property where we ate a breakfast buffet that I would call, just okay.Rooms were old but clean so if you need a cheap place to stay for a night or two it's doable, probably better than other places at the rates they charge.

hi
yes its still there just not an econolodge anymore - just hawaiian maingate. noticed this last week.

Hi! I have reservations next week, Oct. 20-23 at the Hawaiian Maingate. I stayed there for one night in April when it was the EconoLodge Hawaiian. We are annual passholders and all we need is a place to sleep and shower. We spend all day in the parks. You can get reservations there at enjoyfloridahotels.com They are offering an awesome special right now, three nights for the price of two. I got all three nights with tax and resort fee included for $74.64 This is not a fancy motel. It was clean in April and I hope it will be next weekend. Hope this info is useful.
