Have just been looking at the tickets for sale on ebay. Has anyone had any experiences of buying tickets through this source?

I thought I would hop over to the UK board and I noticed your post.

Most everyone's opinion on the US board is that the risk is not worth it. Perhaps you're referring to Euro-Disney and not WDW? As for WDW, the new 2005 "biometric" tickets are designed to be used only by 1 person (fingerprint scans) -- making "used" tickets that much more of a risk.

I would avoid ebay for tickets.

The old used hopper passes tend to go for way more than they're worth and there is no guarantee that the ticket has the advertised number of days - you have to wait until you're there to find out.

The new tickets have biometric info on them so you'll not be able to pick these up unless they're brand new - in which case you'll find better/safer deals on the UK/US websites (and at cheaper postage!!!).

I wouldn't buy tickets like this from ebay as there is no way to know how many day's are on them until you get to the park :(

Agreed

I wouldn't touch with a barge pole - but that's only my opinion. Imagine turning up at the Magic Kingdom ready for a fantastic day only to be told your tickets are worthless - then your wasting time queueing for tickets and paying premium rate for them.

Buy them here before you go - it depends how much peace of mind is to you!! :wizard:

Just wanted to put my two cents in :) I just purchased 2-Day PH plus tix from an ebay seller. While I haven't gotten/used these tickets yet, here is why I bought them online from Ebay.

1. Saved $52 ($138 for adult passes)
2. Verified Ebay seller for the past 4 years witha 98% positive feedback
3. Has previously sold PH with positive feedback

I will admit that we were hesitant as there are a TON of scam artists out there, but we feel confident that this person is legit due to his seller record. PM if you would like his name.

Amanda

P.S. Also these are brand new tickets.

Don't do it !! go with reputable dealers like attraction tickets direct, maple or ticketmania they are very reasonable. Happy hunting :flower:
