Ebay question.

when selling kids clothing, and it's only a 5 to 6$ sale, how do you all ship?

when i go to print ship label through paypal, the cheapest shipping is $5.00.

For a pair of kids pants????????

That plus the fees from ebay and paypal, and this is so NOT worth it right?


Has any one had experience with this and has found a cheaper way to send? pants, shirts are maybe 11 ounces or so in weight.....

eBay USED to be worth it for the small time seller. Now, with all of the listing, final value, and Paypal fees, and high shipping costs, eBay is no longer worth it to me unless I know I can make a decent profit. It's just not worth my time anymore. Sorry.

For single clothing items, I ship in unpadded poly mailers (they add almost no weight) and use 1st class parcel to ship (available through paypal). First class parcel can be used to ship items up to 13 ounces in weight. For 11 ounces, with the delivery comfirmation that paypal adds, it would cost 3.11 to ship.
