Ebay question...setting up seller account?

I've had an account for quite sometime. Now I want to set up my account to sell. I'm wondering if I better off giving them a debit or credit card. You have to give one or the other. If I did a debit, could anyone else get into my bank info? Also, am I better off using a credit card with paypal instead of debit?
