Ebay Experts Please Help!

Sorry for the slight OT, but I'm a first time seller, have concert tickets that I just want to get my $$ back out of (time bind, concert's next Mon. so I have them on a three day auction). I KNOW you're not supposed to close an auction early, but someone has offered me basically what they cost me to do so. There have NOT been any bids yet, so I could just add a "buy now" for that price, right? I'm nervous about waiting, but don't want to screw up my rep on my first sale either. All advice appreciated!

If that's what you're willing to sell the tickets for I would just email the buyer telling them you will add a buy it now to your auction and do it that way.

You may want to think about the listing and ending fees and make sure that with those you still get at least what you paid...

If there are no bids add a BIT for the price you paid for them, tell the buyer that you are doing so, but that you do not garentee them the tickets, since there is always a chance someone else might BIT first.

Thanks everyone, while she and I were "talking" someone else bid, so that takes away the ability to add the "buy it now". I'll just grit my teeth and hope that it goes higher than what she offered (I told her I wouldn't end it early, don't want to get in trouble on my first sale!). There are watchers, so hopefully it'll go well. I'll let you know tomorrow night!
