EBay and Vacation

Hi. Im leaving on vacation tomorrow on the Breakaway. I have items on sale on ebay. Can anyone please let me know how I can put a hold on my items so I can resume selling once I return.

I just asked the same thing about a month ago. I ended up putting in very large letters, and in red, at the beginning of the description that I will be unavailable to ship or answer any questions from xxx-xxx. Got home and a day later sold a bunch. People seem to understand.

There is nothing you can do if you are not an Ebay store owner. If you are a store owner you can put your store in vacation mode. But if you are going to be away for an extended period of time and know you can't handle the sale if it happens while you are gone you just have to END the item and relist when you get back.

If you end an item without selling, you can just relist it when you get back. The same way if the item didn't sell by the end of auction. How many listings do you have?

Ended items will show up under unsold items in my ebay. And you can easily relist from there.

I would end rather than put any wording in the auction. Nowadays many people buy from their smartphones and I've noticed many people don't read the auction descriptions since they don't seem to click into the description.
And with ebay giving a buyer an estimated delivery date that you don't make, they may then give you low stars in feedback. A few low stars and ebay restricts your selling. Many smaller sellers don't realize a few low stars will block them from selling in the future. For this reason alone I would make sure no one can buy things while you are away.
