Well, they did last time... just about everyone who booked at a cat 11 or 12 got upgraded to at least a 9... would be nice.

And those of us who booked a Cat. 9?????

Of course, we need connecting rooms, so that makes upgrades really hard!

Hello again everyone. Sorry that I haven't talked to everyone in awhile, but I changed jobs to one that has a strict internet usage posting policy. Plus I have been recoverying from a month long spat with pnemonia.

I know Matt is still talking to Patrick, so hopefully you did not think I had bailed. So have I missed any really big things?

What's with the pneumonia this year!!! I had it over the holidays too!!!! I really hope you're feeling better! I finally got back to my workout class this week!

Sorry to hear you were sick ( and you too TnRobin) hope you are better soon. I came home from my NYE cruise with the nasty DCLC....Disney Cruise Line Crude. A bunch of us had it after the Western PC Repo too. I'm begining to think that I should watch out when I travel DCL

I hope you are feeling better, Robin! This is the first Winter that I haven't been continually sick... I've been taking Halls ProHealth Defense on and off since early November and I'd like to think the drops are helping to keep me healthy!

Thanks everyone - I do feel much more human now.

It may be DWC (Disney World Crud) I got it after coming back from WDW. Too many people on the plance were coughing up lungs and sure enough a few days later I was sick.

Well we will just have to get it out of our systems in the next 15 months. No one is allowed to be sick next year.

Flower is an albino bunny courtesy of the kindergarten class at the International School of Ouagadougou. Their rabbit pair had a litter just about every semester until the male died in Nov. It was almost standard issue for kindergarteners at some point to bring home a bunny!

Morning Everyone! I am looking today at my balance for the cruise and trying to plan a monthly payment to get it paid off by December. I have a few questions, as I am freaking out a bit at the amount I need to pay monthly to get this category 4 I booked paid off....

1- what deals were offered on the transatlantic last time?
2- when were these deals offered?
3- were there any upgrades available at port?

Thanks so much for answering any of these that you know. I look forward to indulging in the rainforest room myself. I think the warmth of it may be more appealing on this cruise as opposed to the panama one.

I recall looking at the prices last time, I think the trip back not over and the prices for a cat 12 (or around there) were ridiclouly low. I want to say $99 to sail. Maybe the first person was more like $399. I don't think there was any great savings on a cat 4. Those seem to always sell at rack rates. As to the upgrades I had friends that bought them at port again for cheap, like a couple hundred bucks for 3 cats, but again more like 11 to 8, or 8 to 5. I really highly doubt that you will find a better price at the cat 4 and above. Sorry. Remember this is just my opinion, and from my memory, which isn't always perfect, so perhaps you should search the old thread and get it from the horses mouths

I think lots of us are going to try that port upgrade. I'm planning on being there realllllllly early for the best bet

Last time it was $999 for the first 2 people in a cat 12.

And I think in all cats it was $99 for any additional people.

But I'll look and see if I can find anything...

I'd love an upgrade, but it's too hard getting my big group there early. We're just going to take disney transportation from our hotel to the pier.
