Eating in the Parks

Tastes just like chicken! My husbands reply to that...so eat chicken! When its served breaded and fried (usually is) its just like a chicken nugget.

Has anyone tried the Buffalo Fried Chicken Wrap? Anyone able to tell me what's in it? I think I may need to prepare myself if they're any vegetables or "weird" things in it :p :p :p

So...I'm a picky eater...but really want to try Mythos. Am debating between the Chicken Wrap and the other Chicken you guys recommended. But am still curious as to what is in the Chicken Wrap! :) We're thinking of trying Mythos this Monday!

I hope I can ask for the BBQ pizza at NBA City without the vegatables...

Tchoup Chop serves gator in one of the salads and yes, it does taste a lot like chicken! Usually, I am in the club with Jessica's husband and say...I'll just order the chicken. But after a few of the Tchoup Chop mai tai's...you develop a certain spirit of adventure. I'd don't know that I'd order gator again, but it wasn't as bad as the rattlesnake I had out in Arizona (believe it or not, no alcohol involved, just wanted to come home and tell my son I'd eaten rattlesnake!)

By the way, where are the Burger Digs?

Fly Fly-

The BBQ Pizza does not have vegetables.

It is awesome!

Fly Fly, You'll enjoy nba city......... we loved it, the food was awesome!!!

For cheap eats try Cafe 4 at Marvel Super Hero Island - less than $4 for a big slice, or about $15 for a huge pizza to share.

There's a counter service place just by ToT at US - can't remember it's name - that does baked potatoes for a few $. We didn't go there this time, but I remember the potatoes were large, hot and tasty.

Alternatively eat hotdogs at about $3.50 from the stands.

And who can resist churros (well, I can't) at $3.50 for two from stands everywhere?

Eventually I'll take off my countdown, but it's just too depressing to think we have no plans to return for at least 2 years. Boo hoo.

Indeed. The BBQ pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.

Stepharoonie-The Gator nuggets were real gator. Gator is chewier than chicken, and when I had them, they had the chewiness of gator (I've had gator nuggets at Gatorland before). They still tasted good.

IGB40-The Burger Digs is attacthed to the Discovery Center in JP. It's near the Watering Hole, close to the JP/Lost Continent bridge.

The watering hole is another great place to relax and have drinks/nachos.

Thanks DM. I'll have to put the Digs on our December eatery list. Any more info on the Confisco Character breakfast? Specifically, is it still only weekends as you have posted previously? I would like to go to this, but we are arriving on Sunday 12/22 for a three day visit. Any idea on the hours for the breakfast for Sunday AM? We may be able to make it late morning.

It is only on weekends and runs until 10:30 a.m. from what I've read.

SpideyHulk--do you remember where you have read about the breakfast? Also, do you know if they require a reservation and whether I can call Confisco directly? Thank you.

It sounds like there are good places to eat in IOA but is there anywhere in the Studios to get a decent pizza or burger?

thanks!

Ritcher's has some nice burgers. Avoid the burgers at Mel's Diner, though. Yuck!

Hey there. There are a few threads on this topic. Do a search for breakfast at Confisco's and you should find it. Also, you can make a reservation through the Universal dining line. Many have said that you don't need it, but I always make a ressie if I want to be sure I will get into an establishment.

marley-- Louie's at US has great pizza and caesar salad!!!
