Well, I've seen the drink your way around the Epcot world thread, but am much more interested in an "eat your way around the world" idea! If we were to look for small snacks/treats in each country....what would be your suggestions?
THANKS

Dh and I try to do that all the time! We start in Mexico but this last time (Dec) thought the nachos were terrible! We have school bread in Norway, egg roll in China, Kakigori (sno cone) in Japan, BBQ pork in USA, tiramisu in Italy, Hummus and marinated Olives in Marakesh, anything from the bakery in France, pretzel from Germany....it is so much fun!!!

We try to do this as our lunch, we split everything so we have room for more goodies.

We tried, didn't quite finish (we got so full) but each country does have smaller things to try. I think the fact we got a beer with our brat in Germany filled us up. We plan on trying again next time :teeth:

thanks! yes, we are starting in Mexico probably since we have dinner reservations at Rose and Crown for Illuminations...I'm thinking very small items to split for a "taste of" kind of thing (we have 8 people, some teens who will eat their way thru any park, LOL, so I think a couple things to share is fine).

THANKS

If your not looking for a sit down in any country then I would recommend

Mexico: Quesidillas and Churros from Cantina de San Angel
Norway: Any of the Pastry things from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
China: The Eggrolls have always been good to us at the lotus Blossom Cafe
Germany: The only thing I have ever had there is the fudge which was delicious
Italy: There is no real "counter service" here but of course you can sit down and eat some traditional Italian food----yummy
The American Adventure: Its American so you can probably either skip it or figure it out on your own.
Japan: I'm not sure if this actually a traditional Japanese food but its really good any way, you can get a very good shaved ice from Kaki Gori (this is a little cart that only takes cash is almost hidden as you come towards Japan from America)
Morocco: Sadly, we haven't ever actually eaten in Morocco, home of the Tangerine. But there is always a good smell coming from somewhere inside that maze of streets and buildings.
France: There is a Crepes stand right as you come into France near the water. These are a good, quick snack and are absolutely delicious.
United Kingdom: As you cross the bridge from France you will stare directly towards a Fish and Chips stand. Your in England, what else would you get?
Canada: The beaver tails are good but since I didn't actually purchase these i'm not sure where to find them.

it should also be noted that the Refreshment Port on your way out from Canada serves McDonald's fries and McNuggets.
