Eat, Run and Celebrate- Day 7- Last Day and New Orleans

Here I am with 2 items I really wanted my first day in MK. The sundress and the mug.
I could get them and send them to the resort.
I could wait and look in AK.

My wife has that same mug! It's her absolute favorite coffee mug in the whole world. Just sayin'.

I mentioned I had a new camera. Armed with that and a tip from MEK, I attempted some dark shot in PoC.

I think they turned out really well!

Great pics of PoT. I did not know about that bathroom either!! I have never eaten at the taco place either but I LOVE me some tacos so I think we will try it next week.

Tiki Room has a special place in my heart as that was the very first attraction we did on our very first trip back in 1999. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason.

Nice start to your day - good pics in the dark on POC! It's good to have such a great camera. I just don't want to carry one!

I will admit the camera got a little heavy sometimes but overall I didn't feel like I was banging it around like I was the older and smaller camera.

Hmmm I didn't know about that bathroom, either. The things you learn on the DIS

I could also swear I was looking for a bathroom in that area and went all the way back to the one that is by the flying blankies.

I think MK has more bar sounding places than any other park.

I wonder if they will ever change that? Probably not but sometimes you just need a drink to get through IASW.

Nice pictures on POTC. Since our last trip, I bought a new lens which is supposed to help with those low-light situations. But it doesn't zoom, so that's a big trade-off. Some day I'll see how it works on POTC.

Mine is a actually a P&S but it is pretty big. It is a Canon Powershot SX30 IS with a 35X zoom. The zoom is what sold me. Playing around with the some of the manual type settings as I learn is helping. Not being able to zoom is a big trade off. At least for me.

Oh, you had better get that dress and mug. I hate it when I do that and then can't find it later.

Oh girl that has happened to me already with the wallet I found last July. Actually that saga continues too.

Thanks I still had way more misses than keepers but the ones that were keepers were not too bad.

Oh, you are being so suspenseful! Hope you got to the Tiki Room. I want to give it a try at Thanksgiving. The only time we went there was Jeremy's first trip and those birds like to scared him to death!

Well screamming IAGO is gone so maybe they won't frighten him any more.
With a 12 minute wait I knew I could circle back but that too had some drama.

Well now I feel I have shared a great secret to many. I wonder if anyone actually knows that bathroom is there. I mean some people do because obviously they were using it but so far it seems more didn't than did.

I don't know if it was my first attraction but it holds some great childhood memories for me too.

Thanks for the tip, even though I think another DISer was lamentling about not knowing how to use her camera ( cdotla maybe) and you gave her that tip. Still moving objects in a moving rocking boat in the dark are just .....hard.

14 megapixel of fun. I really noticed when I used my small waterproof Olympus camera versus the bigger Canon.

As for the mug...... you will have to wait.

A few people get on, including a mother and son who sit in the back. Once the bus gets moving they break out lunch. Sushi I think. The bus driver says something but they keep eating.

Once we get off the bus, Mom at least throws away the trash but then lights up a cigarette after stopping right in the main path. Lady you are NOT the only in the World. Look around.

He was one of the good ones. I had one that just about stopped at the arch adn told people to stand in the aisle to get heh picture.
