We had a great Thanksgiving and family reunion this weekend. It is always good to get back home after being away though. Had to get groceries last night as soon as we got back in town. This week's menu:

Last Night-
Tacos (hard and soft shell)

Tonight-
Deer Steak and Gravy (in the crock pot now)
Homemade Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Corn
Biscuits

Tuesday-
Chicken Veggie Soup
Cornbread

Wednesday-
Leftover Soup
Grilled Cheese

Thursday-
Beef Stroganoff
Noodles
Steamed Broccoli

Friday-
Mac and Cheese with Smoked Sausage
French Style Green Beans

I have turkey rice soup simmering on the stove for dinner tonight. We will have it with rolls.

We ended up going out for Chinese on Friday, so I did Pioneer Woman's Turkey Tetrazzini on Saturday. OMG! It turned out awesome!

Sunday I needed to use up the rest of the leftover turkey, so I made Emeril's Turkey & White Bean Chili. I used canned beans and it was tasty.

Sunday evening I made a layered mexican casserole to use up the mexican rice I had left from our fajitas last week. I am in love with this taco seasoning.

Tonight I'm making meatloaf from this meatball recipe. I'll serve it with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Tuesday I'm making Pasta Carbonara.

Wednesday we'll have Tator Tot Hotdish.

Thursday morning we leave for Napa Valley, so MIL is feeding the kids. I'm leaving lots of casseroles in the freezer.

We were on vacation, so we ate out for the last three days. My pantry/freezer is still full so I decided to do another pantry/freezer week. I do need to get a few things for this week, but my goal is to spend only $25 this week on groceries!

Sunday- Pizza, salad, apple slices w/caramel sauce
Monday-Barbecued chicken, rice, sauteed zuchini, baked beans
Tuesday-French toast, bacon, fruit salad
Wednesday-BLT's, fruit salad, carrot/celery sticks, chips
Thursday-Chili, cornbread
Friday-Potato soup, pumpernickle bread

Switching up the menu a little since I wasn't up to deboning chicken for chicken soup last night, LOL!

Mac and Cheese with Smoked Sausage
French Style Green Beans

Tonight we are having some leftover pot roast that I froze earlier in the month. We will have a salad and biscuits with it.

Being bad tonight and ordering some pizza.

I am worn out and feeling yucky. I hate this time of year. I'm stressed out, fatigued, and dealing with a cold. Not a good combination when it comes to making dinner! I have NO energy what so ever. :sad1:

It is so frustrating and I don't know how to fix it. I know I need to change my diet and get more active, but I am horrible at keeping up with it.

After tonight I am done with fast food... I swear!

Sounds like everyone is starting to feel the winter blues. I was not feeling too hot this afternoon so I just warmed up some leftover turkey rice soup for dinner.
