Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!! Eat at Home today and celebrate being grateful with the ones you hold near and dear to your heart!

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

We started off the morning with a bang! My hubby dumped the entire tray of deviled eggs on the floor!

He's a third shifter and I have to wake him up soon. I just finished prepping the sides. I made twice baked sweet potatoes and the stuffing. Just waiting on the time to start the rest once the turkey gets frying:surfweb:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We didn't have a traditional meal, our youngest daughter doesn't like any of those foods! :confused3

We had indoor hibachi/fondue. Steak, shrimp, zuchini, mushrooms, roasted red potatoes, fried oysters and Hawaiin sweet rolls. We will have the traditional pumpkin pie for dessert! ;)

We are going on a three day getaway tomorrow so it will be good to not have a fridge full of leftovers. We'll get back to eat at home come Monday!

My Bird turned out wonderful....

Happy Thanksgiving to my Eat at Home friends! It was a fun but busy day. The leftovers are put up and now I can sit back and relax. SO much food though. I really made way too much!

I am stuffed. We are going to be eating turkey leftovers for a long time as we had a 14lb bird for 3 people, lol. But everything was yummy and I will not mind eating it all over again.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and survived the Black Friday madness. I made a quick grocery run today, and the store was EMPTY-of food and people! :rotfl:

This week:
Tonight: English muffin pizzas, 7 layer salad
Saturday: appetizer day in celebration of a day filled with football
Sunday/Monday: meatball subs, pasta salad, veggies and dip
Tuesday: fried chicken and mac/cheese, slaw
Wednesday: ??
Thursday: out somewhere on our way to the Demi Lovato concert

Tonight is leftovers. Tomorrow we are going to my friend's wedding so dinner will be at the reception.

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

My plan this week is:
Today - Glazed Gammon with veg (which is cooking now and smells beautiful :yay:)
Monday - Cottage pie cakes, chips and beans
Tuesday - Ham wrapped chicken with sweet potato mash
Wednesday - Beef Bourgioun (sp?)
Thursday - Mustard pork chops with mash
Friday - It is my xmas work party so food will be supplied :banana:

I am also making a Banoffee Pie for dessert one day this week

Hope everyone is ok
xx

I hope everyone had a wonderful food and fun filled holiday and weekend. Well for 2011 Thanksgiving is over and the last of the leftovers are in the oven in a casserole so now the Christmas season gets kicked off with the holiday programmng on tv. I do love this time of year and watching all the old traditional shows again. My favorite is How the Grinch Stole Christmas - the original animated one. DH and I sat and watched the last half of it the other night.

Okay so here's the plan for this week:
Today: Turkey and dressing casserole for lunch, beef chili and cornbread for dinner
Mon: broiled garlic chicken, green beans, brazilian white rice
Tues: salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned corn
Weds: smoked pork chops, peas and rice, applesauce
Thurs: taco noodle dinner, chipotle seasoned corn
Fri: leftovers
Sat: fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned corn

Nice, Tinkmom. My husband is in the kitchen making turkey bone gumbo finally. He makes it every year. (but he usually does it on Friday or Saturday.lol) ;)

I hope everyone had a wonderfully blessed thanksgiving!

We have been doing very well with eating at home although we did get take out Friday night but it was just my dh and I as our kids were at my moms for a sleep over

Tonight is American chop souy
Monday is food shopping day wil post later

Hit Super Wal-Mart today and you can tell the Holidays are coming!! :scared1:

It was so crazy I could'nt think straight...so I "think" this is what we are having this week :rotfl:

Sunday- We did stop at Red Robin for Lunch so just some snacks for the Steeler Game later :cheer2:
Monday- Make your own Pizza Night, pick up different toppings and everyone can pick what they want!
Tuesday- Peirogie Casserole
Wednesday-Homemade Potato Soup & Beer Bread
Thursday- Taco Night
Friday- Chicken fried Rice & Egg Rolls

and that was as far as I got!

Have a Great Week Everyone!

Sure, no problem!

I have no "recipe" per say i just throw this all together! :goodvibes

Cooked bag of noodles
Sauteed Onions in butter
Instant Mash Potatos made then mixed with shredded cheddar cheese

I mix these all together, put in a pan with some more cheese on top, and put in the oven for a few minutes and thats that!

Sorry no measurements for anything, but its so simple and i've made it a billion times i just eyeball everything...but its really good! :rotfl:
