I hope everyone is doing well here:thumbsup2

I want to welcome anyone who is new:woohoo: Welcome!

It's great to have support from so many people.

Today we had sushi for my dd's 9th birtday:scared1: they grow up way too fast.

Last night I made up a batch of Mickey Mouse head sugar cookies. I love making dessert items rather than buying premade. It has saved me a ton of money lately.

Tonight we are having homemade baked macaroni and cheese with brussel sprouts.

Tonight will be BLTs, chips, and fruit. I have a test and then have to watch a speaker online so it has to be something fast and simple.

Mmmmm- tonight we are having some yummy Chicken Taco Soup that is simmering in the crock pot right now. We will have cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips to top it with.

Changed our minds and mom is picking up Arbys. After that test I just want to curl up and do NOTHING. I'm also going to do the alternate assignment for my class instead of watching the speaker. I just can't do anything tonight...

I forgot that my mom had a class tonight so dinner ended up being a fend for yourself event.

Tonight I sauteed onion, broccoli raab and bok choy, all from yesterday's CSA box. I'd marinated some round steak all day and asked DH to throw it on the grill while I was doing the veggies, which he did. It was a good dinner. :smokin:

Ok I am back after being away (for a funeral) in Oregon from 11/7 - 11/12 . I grocery shopped yessterday and we had BBQ pork in the crockpot on crusty rolls with cole slaw.
Tonight - Barber stuffed chicken - apple and brie, twice baked potatoes and carrots
Wed - Tilapia for me and leftover spaghetti for DH
Thur - Popcorn chicken tossed with panda express orange chicken sauce, egg rolls and white rice
Fri - appitizer date night
Sat - frozen pizza and mozzerella sticks

Only day we strayed was Wed I wasn't feeling good - so i ate soup and hubby ate cereal.

It seems we stray from our plans fairly often, but by having a plan to start with life is generally better... not to mention being better budgeted. ;)

I've noticed a lot of us folks seem to beat ourselves up for these kinds of things. And in case you were feeling that way... Who cares if someone ate cereal for one night? I say good for you for having flexibility! And I hope you are feeling healthy today.:flower3:

been cooking all day so its lasagna and fresh buns for us with ceasar salad and the spice cake is baking as i type.........

tomorrow will be homemade pizza and then cabbage rolls on Sunday with mashed potatoes and garden salad

Hubby leaves again on Monday for work so some easier meals will be on my menu :lmao:

I had a 6 hour iron infusion today, so we hadn't eaten more than a few snacks all day. No one had energy to cook, so we picked up Moe's on the way home.

Friday- Moes!
Saturday- Taco's
Sunday- Chili, cornbread
Monday-Chili dogs, carrot sticks, apple slices
Tuesday-biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, fruit salad
Wednesday- Lasagna, salad, french bread
Thursday- Steak, chicken, shrimp, zuchini, mushrooms, red potatoes (yes not traditional, but it's our habatchi/fondue family favorite!)

This week:
Tonight: homemade pizza
Sat/Mon: shrimp fajita quesadillas, Spanish rice, chips with salsa and guac
Sun/Tues: chicken pot pie, black eyed peas
Wed: crustless bacon and cheese quiche, grits, biscuits
Thur: Cracker Barrel

Working on my grocery list. It's super short at the moment because I have bought most all I need for the big meal ahead of time! Hopefully that means I will get out of there without breaking the bank for once.

Tomorrow: Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti, Garlic Bread
Sunday: Boyfriend's
Monday: Class
Tuesday: Boyfriend's
Wednesday: Snacking (I have too much to precook for the next day)
Thursday: Turkey, Family stuffing, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, gravy, pumpkin pie, and peanut butter pie.
Friday: Friend's Thanksgiving! No idea on menu yet, but it will NOT be traditional
Saturday: Leftovers (This is "deck the halls" day... so don't want to take the time to cook another meal)
Sunday: Boyfriend's
