I have a pork roast that I am hoping will go in the crock pot tomorrow- I want to do Pulled pork sandwiches with it- but don't know how to get that from the roast? Do I just put it in the crock with BBQ sauce and water and hope for the best?

... not a ton of shrimp in it, just right with frozen shrimp we had bought through costco. They have decent quality for their prices.

Oh and... The package of shrimp is not cheap but also not small and is something we would rarely buy. But because we wanted to use it for stir-fry and knew we weren't going to just eat a ton of it all at once it worked out perfectly so that the stir-fry was not really an expensive dish to make. AND because we didn't have to thaw out more than we would use we will get several "splurges" out of it over the next week or two before we finish it off.

Yes, I think something that simple will work for you. Slow Cookers are beautiful things. I googled really quickly and found what I expected. Recipes abound online and some are just about what you asked about, some are complex or simple in execution but have fairly long ingredient lists and then there is everything in between. One even said to poor a can of rootbeer in with the roast and nothing else. I wouldn't do that since I try to avoid feeding my family synthetic flavors made in laboratories and I almost never buy rootbeer that is expensive enough to not have anything artificial in it, but I bet that is a tasty recipe. :rotfl:

Lol. Hansen's and Whole Foods brand root beer are quality and I don't think they are too costly :)

Wicked Chicken Casserole

1 box prepared stuffing mix
1 package of frozen peas, cooked
2 cans of mushroom stems & pieces, drained
1.5 - 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
1 can of cream of chicken soup
2/3 soup can of milk

Grease a 2 qt casserole. Layer enough dry stuffing mix in the bottom just to cover it. Layer in peas, mushrooms, & chicken. Mix soup and milk and pour over the top. Make the rest of the stuffing mix according to the package directions and layer on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I've also made it with leftover turkey (after Thanksgiving) and used other vegetables (green beans, corn) and/or cream soups (cream of mushroom or cream of celery) and it still comes out good.

BIG QUESTION HERE!

I am trying REALLLLLLY hard to go back to Disney a year from now. Do any of you have experience renting DVC? A friend from work did and they got their Disney Vacation CHEAP. The problem is that her hubsband is the one who planned and booked the whole thing, so she is not able to answer even the most basic questions about it. Can any of you help or do you know where I can look for help with this? I checked the DVC rental/trade thread and it frightened me, LOL! :lmao:
