Today was grocery day.
Tonight: BLTs, chips and dip, honeydew
Saturday/Monday: Burgers, fries, and corn
Sunday/Tuesday: ribs, mashed potatoes, broccoli
Wednesday: Parmesan tilapia, garlic noodles, steamed veggies
Thursday: brats and kraut, macaroni and cheese, cucumber and onion salad

I ended up working late due to an emergency at work. So mom had leftovers and I got Jimmie John's at work.

I'm new to this thread but I have some freezer food that needs to be eaten up before our move. The deep freezer has been emptied so I need to unplug it and clean it and let it air out ASAP.

I have this in the freezer:
2 boxes of popcorn shrimp (only for the boys as dd won't eat it and I'm allergic)
About a dozen meatballs
A bag of breakfast sausage
2 bags mixed veggies
1 large bowl of sugar snap peas and carrots
2 boxes of spring rolls (4 in each box)
2pie crusts
Large bag of uncooked chicken wings - will make into hot wings
About 2lbs of ground beef (in one package)
2lbs of butter- probably will have to be trashed since I only use them for holiday baking and they won't keep for the long drive.
Lots of Popsicles (can be unfrozen, those pops that come in the box unfrozen)

I think that's it for freezer food. In the fridge I have:

2packs of hot dogs
Bunch of shredded cheese
1brick of mozzarella
9 eggs
Lots of baby carrots

I think that's it for the fridge.

I'm really not sure what meals to make. I'm making 2 pumpkin pies with the pie crusts but the kids will eat those in just a day or so. It's really just a mishmash of things that we normally have on hand for last minute meals and its not what I really want to eat on a daily basis until we move but it is what it is. LOL

We have tons of pantry items and spices that will all come with us so I'm not worried about that stuff.

Instead of the pumpkin pies, you could make a quiche with the pie crusts, eggs, cheese, and some of the frozen veggies. I've made mine with sausage before as the meat, too, so if the kind you have works for that, you could use it, too.

Last night we had a semi homemade meal, I picked up a roasted chicken at the grocery store and made mashed sweet potatoes and zucchini to go with it.

Tonight in honor of my dad we are having brats on the grill with homemade German potato salad and applesauce with blueberry cobbler for desert.

Hmm, that's sound tasty. I promised YDD the pumpkin pies so I'm making those now but I may go get some crusts and make the quiche for the rest of us.

Leftovers and hotdogs - Saturday - there wasn't any leftovers so we got pizza instead......I'll make the hot dogs tonight along with the shrimp, peas and spring rolls.
Shrimp and spring rolls and peas (ramen for YDD) - Sunday
Grilled cheese sandwiches and peas/ carrots- Monday. .......we have no more bread so we'll have to eat creative here, maybe I will buy more tortillas and use those.
Happy Meal night - Tuesday
Pizza? - Wednesday - had pizza Saturday night so need to figure something else out.
Thursday on the road to FL!!!!

That will leave me with:
Less than 2 lbs butter
Popsicles
Shredded cheese - freeze up extra cheese since there is too much to use up.
Tortillas

Yesterday we had mac n cheese and tuna for dinner, chocolate pudding for dessert.

Tonight will be grilled cheese sandwiches and green beans.

Changed things up because I got a beautiful steak from the farmers market. Going to be able to get 2 meals out of it (since it is just me). So here is what I have until the 27th because then I am heading out of town.

Also going for easy meals this week as much as possible. I have a new member joining my family... a 5 month old female Blue Heeler/Lab Mix!

Monday: Shrimp Curry and Rice
Tuesday: Honey Sesame Chicken, Rice, Sugar Snap Peas
Wednesday: Chicken Taco Salad
Thursday: Pancakes, Bacon
Friday: Steak, Baked Potato, Roasted Squash
Saturday: Tilapia, Roasted Squash, Roasted Beets
Sunday: Beef Stroganoff, Egg Noodles, Steamed Broccoli
Monday: Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Corn on the Cob
Tuesday: Vegetable Pizza
Wednesday: Leftovers

Well, after a crazy week and moving menu items all around, I am not doing too well on a menu this week. I keep having to think of things to make that I can keep warm, and everyone has busy evenings and they don't start wandering in until 7:00 or, like two nights last week, around 9:00; oldest DS will be in Dallas tomorrow night, so, I am trying to plan accordingly; we did splurge last night for Father's Day and had a feast from our local BBQ joint. So far, this week I have:
Tonight: Beef tacos with Poblano Rice (I forgot to take out the ground meat so I will have to thaw in the microwave which I cannot stand to do)
Tues: Still dwelling, we didn't have much in the way of leftovers from Father's Day BBQ but maybe I can add to and create a meal
Wed: Lemon Pepper Pasta with Shrimp and Salad
Thurs: Corn Cakes, Sausage and Baked Apples I did not make last week
Fri: Pork Loin in Crock Pot
Sat: Left over pork loin maybe made into pulled pork sandwiches

So uninspired but trying to save money!

Tonight is black beans and rice with sausages.

I had hoped it would be done when I got home since I worked late. I should learn not to get my hopes up. Lol.

Tonight we had: Veggie burgers, baked fries and raw carrot sticks w/ ranch dip. Kids had chicken nuggets in place of veggie burgers.

Tomorrow: Chili leftovers w/ rice and bean burritos.

Wed: Baseball practice so something quick: Grilled cheese w/ a veggie.

Thurs: Pasta w/ meatballs

Not sure about Fri-Sun just yet.

Well, I already had to skip a dinner. Turns out that cooking while chasing a new puppy is NOT an easy task at all. So I made eggs and toast last night instead of the shrimp curry. I do have to say, she did pretty good at not begging for food last night. I ate dinner at the table, but had some Italian Ice a bit later on the sofa. Had a little bit of begging but ignored her and she went off to play on her own for awhile.

Tonight we had chicken noodle soup. About to make banana nut muffins with the kids for dessert. :)
