Eat as we go???!!!....

we have done it both ways many adr and none at all. i like to go somewhere it the middle. this time we will be there 8 days with 3ts , one early morning at crystal palace before mk opens. one at 830 pm @ chef mickey and on our off day -one at 445 at 1900 park fare. this way we can eat some ts but not be running away from rides and shows just to eat. i dont know if you will have a car but there is plenty of chain table service restaurants within minutes if you get bored of cs.

On trips where we bring new people or a lot of people we make the TS reservations. (Also when we are on Free Dining, we make the TS reservations)

On trips where it is just DH and me, or especially if I'm solo, we don't make TS ADRs. With a party of one or two, especially if you are not picky, we just call Dining from our cell phone and ask what is available within the next hour or so, we can usually get anywhere on Disney property within an hour, so take what is offered.

(Note, we have more than 30 trips under our belt over the last 10 years, so touring is not our big focus anymore).

Well, I want to send a heart felt thank you to all!!! Planning this trip has become easier thanks to all the advice I have recieved here soooo..... I'm making a few ressies for late lunch or dinner. I already have hopper for my 6 days so thats not a problem. Your points were all very valid and you are right if I don't want to go I cancel! Thanks for the perspective:) and I also may add that 7th day to my tickets for as one of you said it gives me more options....who knows when I'll be able to go to Disney again!
