Has anyone done the Eastern Caribbean in late April? Can you tell me your experience with the weather and the seas? Was it rough when you were sailing? Thanks.

I'd like to find out the information on the weather, too! We are booked on the April 30, 2005 Eastern. We went on the Wonder (4 night) last year during the first week of May, and the weather was PERFECT. It was mid-80's, and we had totally calm seas. It was wonderful.

We were hoping to book for May again, but since the April 30, 2005 sailing is the last one until September, we decided to book that one.

Add us to the April 30, 2005 list. We also sailed last may (may 31) and loved the weather, but with DCL schedule we have to sail in April. I dont mind though, the price was almost the cheapest of the year.

Looking forward to cruising with you, Makaylee! My parents are actually waitlisted to be in one of the SP Rooms, which I read you are staying in.

My parents are currently in room 7150, which is clear at the front of the ship. I am hoping that the seas are pretty smooth in April, because I am a little concerned that they will have too much "motion" that far forward. We are in a Cat. 5 mid-ship on Deck 7, so I suppose they can always hang out in our room if the seas are rough.

My DH made all the plans last time, and just introduced me to these boards....I'm hooked!

I hope we have alot of fellow DISers going with us, were gonna have a blast! I think the weather will be great. I hear April is one of the best months to cruise. Our chances of ruff seas arent that high because we arent going during hurricane season, lets keep our fingers crossed because our room is pretty forward too. :D

I know these boards are very addictive! I find it is the first thing I do after I bring my dd to school. Im always anxious to find out what my fellow DISers have to say!

In my Opinion, April is the Best Month to cruise! The weather is perfect. Not to hot and not to cold. The crowds are low and it is a little bit cheaper. We did an Eastern in 2001 and we have a Western planned for this year.

You can't go wrong in April!!

Enjoy your cruise!
