Me and my fiancé are taking this cruise for our honeymoon!
It's our first cruise!

We're definitely interested in the FE's.
I've heard so much about them, and we're so excited to use them!

Hello and welcome to our new members!

I thought I would let you know about another thread started for our cruise date. I made a new one with the thread title "Genie's Magic Carpet Tours October 5,2013 Eastern Fantasy".

Right now there is really nothing there, but I am beginning to add info to the first 7 posts. I will do my best to keep things updated. I thought the first 7 posts could become our GO TO POSTS for various information without having to search through pages under this post. (Kind of like a one-thread for all info sort of thing)

Let's post ideas for meets and tours and such on the other one as well as here. And keep this one for conversations with each other and getting to know each other too. BUT, let us NOT FORGET the other site (NOT FB) that has been set up for us to share more info without the whole world knowing it all too. Pixiehallow has done a VERY NICE job in setting that site up.

Any feedback would be great --- and I will get the other thread added under the 2013 Cruise Meet by date thread too.

Hello Everyone!
Your help/input is needed and ASAP!

I started another thread w/ our cruise name, date, and various information. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2960451 --- One Stop Info/Ideas Shop (Post # 1-7)

My intent was to put all info discussed or decided onto a "one Shop Stop" instead of having to scroll down various posts or thru pages before finding information needed. (And our cruise name too ). It was not done as to over step Mercinursi's start of our cruise thread. I was looking for ease to all of us.

Anyways, it has be suggested by the Moderators that we make a decision regarding the thread(s). Here are our options:
1. Keep both threads open (if not too confusing or a pain to keep track of --- my words, not the moderator's)

2. Edit all the info from the new thread into the old thread under my first post in that thread meet.

3. Close the original thread, and use the new thread with the info in one spot, then continue our chats there.

Please give me your thoughts and choice of what you would like to see done and all. Then I will let the moderator know. How about we leave this open until about Aug. 6th to decide. If no response, I am not sure what to do ...

I feel a good connection with this group so far. What ever is the best for the group as a whole ( and by this I mean, what ever works the best to help us plan our meets, FE's, and such in a manner that everyone that wants to be included is included) is what I will be on board with doing.

This is a good question, can we transfer posts?

But as for why do we need to keep the previous posts, I do not say it is a NEED so much as a WANT on my part (Roxy~ I can PM you more about this if you would like). If as a group it is decided to delete this thread and replace it with the other, I can always back up the info that I want to save.

TiggerB~I'm fine with any of the options, my only concern would be that new people be able to find us. Is the new thread listed under the cruise meets? Can that be done? That would be my only concern.

Hey everyone... thanks for looking at things and asking great questions! I am waiting for a response from the moderator as to whether the two threads could be merged or not... I will post when I find out.

Great questions and concerns.... what are your thoughts of the one stop shop posts on the other thread so far? If we decide to close this one or the other, you can copy and repost any of them... do I think we need all 12 pages? Personally, no since alot of the original posts pertain to setting up the FE, group name ideas, and votes... those could probably go away. Each of you can copy any of the posts and re-post them. You can decide what you want to keep...

But other posts, definitely what ever ones people want. I am just trying to make things easy for us not having to sort through pages of posts to find info fast. And, pixiehallow has the yahoo stuff under control, I can do this one. I do think one thread or another would truly be easier, but just not sure the approach everyone wants to take.

Super excited to see people active on the thread(s) Pixiehallow, if you sent out the email thing, Thank You! Oh, and FYI on the Roll Call List... I would love to add smilies to everyone, yet, I already had to remove some because they have a 25 smilie per post limit.

Official word, the two can NOT be merged together due to the dates being the same I don't understand technology enough to know the ins and outs , just what was written to me.

I think I remember seeing that some of the members of our group were going to be going on the Fantasy before our sailing in Oct. 2013.

If I am remembering this correctly, I was wondering if I could get some help.

Anyone that may be aboard the Fantasy anytime in the next 12 month, please respond to this thread, or PM me.

My boys have become very close to Douglas (was most recently, the Manager over Merchandise on the Dream) and have special pins to bring to him. He said he was going to be part of the original crew on the Fantasy. So, we are wanting to find out if he is going to be on board when we all sail in Oct. 2013. Plus, we would like to get him a special letter.
