Easter dates help please - when NOT to go?

Were going to be in LA from 12th-21st April (Easter Sunday). Based in previous experience when's the worst time to go?

Presumably before Good Friday is better than after?

Mid week and probably earlier in the trip. I think there's a thread with a "when's your spring break" poll in it.

Easter is so late in April you may have a better chance of missing the spring breakers....I started a survey months ago and this was the info I collected.

We went to DL last this past March. We were there the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before Easter. It was a nightmare. In over ten visits to DL I have seen it like that. It was shoulder to shoulder people. I actually felt bad for the folks who were there for their big Disney trip. For us, we know we are returning soon, so the crowds are annoying but not deal breakers. We always go during Spring Break season and its normally not that bad. This was the first time that we went close to Easter.

I would not go the four days before or the four days after Easter if possible.

That's really helpful thank you all for replying. From what everyone is saying it's probably better to go as soon as we arrive (ie 12th, 13th, 14th April) rather than closer to Easter
