Would anyone mind giving me the scoop on going Easter week 2006? Are the crowds really that horrendous, and is it even worth making the trip? We've never gone during a peak time like that, but now with our oldest child in school, we have limited options to go during the school year. What are everyone's opinions? :worried: Thanks for the input!!

We are going at this time also...(tues the 18th through Tues the 25th, airfare was much cheaper than if we left on Sat.) and I posted the same question...The response was that this is a very crowded time not only because of Easter but because it also coincides with spring break in Massachusetts.

So plan on doing a lot of planning!

You can make all your ADRs now. They recently changed it to 180 days out. I called the other day and got everything I wanted...

The park hours and EMH hours are also out for April so you can get an idea of what parks and how long you can spend at each park....

We are going to Universal first and then we go to WDW on the 21st so hopefully the crowd level drops over the weekend but I am not holding my breath..

Good Luck!

We were there the weeks before and after Easter last year. The crowds were enormous and MK closed the gates for a portion of at least a half dozen days over that two weeks we were aware of. As long as you plan carefully, utilize fast-pass effectively, and get to the parks when they open you can still have a great experience.
