Early October 2007

Would the parks be very crowded during the first week/weekend of October 2007? We're looking at going Oct 3-7 (Wed-Sun).

I know it's the beginning of Food & Wine Fest but it seems from posts I've read here on Dis that most people attend more towards the middle and end of October. I'm thinking it will be pretty quiet during those dates...anyone have any input? Thanks!

If that Friday, Sat and Sun are part of Columbus Day weekend - it is VERY crowded. We go then every year and it has gotten busier and busier.

You're right iloveokw...I just looked online and see that Columbis Day is on the 8th...I was hoping it was the following week. I guess we'll have to try for later in the week of the 8th. Do you think the crowds will have lessened by the 10th or would we be better off going Sept. 26-30?

It was far more crowded than I thought it would be this year, especially @ Epcot - still not as bad as late June was.

If you're willing to use early EMH & FP it's certainly workable.

End of Sept. may run into free dining promo (if it runs again next year) crowd reports were high.

This year we were there from the 10th through the 17th and I noticed that it seemed much more crowded than it has been in previous years.
