Early November Travelers! For those arriving Nov 1 ~ Nov. 17

Hi All!
We are coming in 11/7-11/12 staying at the Poly. Super excited- we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary:love:

Ahk! Slower moving?! I just found out about this from the fb page and it's already on page 3! (My name's Tami on fb.)

I'm arriving on the 1st, you have me listed but not my resort. We'll be at AoA in a Nemo suite.

It's my family's 1st vacation anywhere, kids' 1st time in a hotel and Disney. My in-laws are joining us for 3 days then taking my daughter back home with them while DH and I stay 2 more days with my DSs. We're so excited! We'll be celebrating my boys' 5th b-day. We've been saving to go to Disney when they were 5 since they were born (seriously!). I haven't stayed on property since I was 2, my DH has never stayed on property. Did I mention that we're excited?!!!! :yay:

that's a tough call. I am guessing we will be looking at mid November. We arrive on the 8th and leave on the 17th, so I am hoping we will just catch it. I am hoping like by November 12th or so it will be open, but that's a totally random guess. :confused3:rotfl: That would give them a week to do soft openings before the "holiday" season officially starts that next week with Thanksgiving. That would just be my guess. The fact that they have even communicated that ADRs will be available in August is more than they've done in the past with other openings for restaurants or park areas. So that makes me hopeful.

I am also hoping for a soft opening on the 12th, that will be our first MK day and the day I will be willing to give up an ADR :lmao:

:) AKV-K, 10/26-11/2. Second year in a row for Halloween, and the fifth time at this time of year.

Thanks for splitting!

Honestly, I stopped following the other thread because it was so fast and a lot of posts about Thanksgiving trips. :thumbsup2

We are going Nov 15--26 and staying at Coronado Springs. Celebrating DD 16 birthday which is in October.:bday:

So, here is a question/idea I have been rolling around in my head :rotfl:. We are going to WDW to celebrate DD's third bday. I have planned everything with that and have been talking about all the things to do with her but we are also taking both set's of parents with us. Both of which will be celebrating their anniversary in the month of Nov. Neither are while we are there but very close to the dates. Should I do something to celebrate these as well? If so what? A special dinner alone wouldn't work because they both want to spend as much time with DD as possible. I just really want to make this trip extra special! I don't know many people that go on vacay with both sets of parents and this may be our only trip like this with them so I am trying to plan all I can! LOL!

Maybe have something from the disney florest sent to their rooms? Or order each a cake on different nights at a restaurant.
Perhaps just schedule them the dessert party one night?

What Jen said!

You could attach a celebration to your ADR and they will bring our a little something as well. The nicer the place, (Le Cellier, Coral Reef...) the deserts look fancier, then say a cupcake from Chef Mickeys.

I think I am going to do the ADR's and then have something sent to their rooms! Thank you for the ideas. :) I am excited to surprise them with this! :hyper:

Has anyone done the carriage ride? I want to schedule one for just the DH and I one night.

DH and I will be there October 28 - November 3. Staying at Beach Club, celebrating our 25th (which is actually Nov. 7)!

Joining in :goodvibes Im so glad to have another thread too. All of that late November talk and the waiting on BoG could make it too tempting to switch dates :rotfl2:

Anyway you already have me listed but I need to update our info. Was lucky enough to receive the FD pin and flights were crazy so ended up adding days on both ends to make it all work. But thats never a bad thing is it :rolleyes1

So now we will be 11/1 - 11/12 at Poly and we are doing MNSSHP 11/2 and MVMCP 11/9 :dance3:
