Awesome! Thanks. I actually just added two days to our trip yesterday We are now 11/1-10 at AoA. (Still holding out hopes for FD PIN or it to go public, and was afraid of no room availability if I waited for it to be released before changing my dates to an included check in date)

We are arriving October 30-November 6th, staying in the Little Mermaid room at Arts of Animation. Very excited to see the new resort!

So, do y'all think we will get a chance to try BOG or not? I am a little doubtful--but hoping Disney is pushing 'holiday season' so they will not be bombarded with disappointed guests if they hit a snag! I am thinking that since the Christmas Parties will be started so that may be a point in our favor-the parks are decorated for Christmas!!! They can't get more holiday than that! LOL! Here's hoping!

I am a little doubtful--but hoping Disney is pushing 'holiday season' so they will not be bombarded with disappointed guests if they hit a snag! I am thinking that since the Christmas Parties will be started so that may be a point in our favor-the parks are decorated for Christmas!!! They can't get more holiday than that! LOL! Here's hoping!

that's a tough call. I am guessing we will be looking at mid November. We arrive on the 8th and leave on the 17th, so I am hoping we will just catch it. I am hoping like by November 12th or so it will be open, but that's a totally random guess. That would give them a week to do soft openings before the "holiday" season officially starts that next week with Thanksgiving. That would just be my guess. The fact that they have even communicated that ADRs will be available in August is more than they've done in the past with other openings for restaurants or park areas. So that makes me hopeful.

Yeah, they have to be very careful to set expectations, hence being so vague. Just like constructing a new home, weather and other things out of their control can cause delays, so I know it is hard to promise a firm date. Plus they have to train CMs etc. Just the fact they've said August for ADRs is good though- that means they will know the opening date by August! and i am hoping that will mean the entire expansion there (B&B and LM) will open then as well.

WE are so excited to head back to our home- Bay Lake Tower in a 2 bedroom villa- lakeview for 8 nights, arriving Nov 9-17th. Hoping to book AoA cars suite for the night of the 8th. I have booked MVMCP for 11/12, along with Pirate League and hoping for dessert party as well later in that week.

Me too!! If I miss all of it, I will just be sick! really though, I am just so thankful we are taking another Disney trip and feel very blessed!! I don't want to lose focus of that when others are just canceling and not able to do anything! I know we all feel the same way-very glad to be going back!!!It'll be great no matter what!

Loving the idea of a slower moving thread

Thank you for the new thread! I'm wondering if you would mind fixing my dates...? I was put down further into November on the day we LEAVE to go on the Fantasy with our earlier arrival. We get in on Oct 28th and stay in AKL until the 3rd, then go on the Fantasy and come back Nov 11-12 for the 1/2 and are staying the one night in a LM room at AoA! Whew, so complicated!!

I think I've decided that if it opens during the first part of our stay pre-cruise then we will go, but if its more in the middle of November we will skip it. As much as I would love to try dinner there I'm worried about eating 'new' food later on in the day before we run the Wine & Dine 1/2 marathon and would rather stick with spaghetti and meatballs for lunch at Tony's! Gotta carb up!

I'm here! I'll be arriving on the 12th for 7 nights and with such a short amount of time, a thread like this is crucial for keeping up on everything so thanks for creating it ! I've chosen all my ADR's so I don't think I'll be eating at BOG for dinner but I just might stop by for some pommes frites so I can have a peek at lunchtime .

I kind of forgot about the Osborne Lights ! I'll still manage to see them but I only have one evening on the 14th before I head over to Ohana's for dinner. I wonder if I should leave an hour before my ADR, or can I cut it a little closer? Hmm.

I came over here after a random burst of excitement and wanted to talk packing, but yeah, it's to early lol !! Soon though!!

We are going on the Disney Dream November 4-8 and then staying at Art of Animation November 8-13. Can't wait!!

I know the feeling. It took me till the beginning of March to finish my Aug. Tr and then we went down to Universal/disney at the end of March and I am still working on that one, and that was a short trip. I want to get it done by the end of July!
