Early November Travelers! For those arriving Nov 1 ~ Nov. 17

Ok! Now that I am looking into things for the DH and myself I'm thinking about the dessert party! I had wanted to do the carriage ride but the party looks good too. Thoughts or ideas? It is also going to be trying to work it into our schedule. I really don't want to miss too much with DD! Lol!

We'll be there November 15-25. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside in a royal room! Can't wait!

Awesome! Thanks. I actually just added two days to our trip yesterday :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: We are now 11/1-10 at AoA. (Still holding out hopes for FD PIN or it to go public, and was afraid of no room availability if I waited for it to be released before changing my dates to an included check in date)

Ditto to all of that! Did you get AoA LM or suite?

So, do y'all think we will get a chance to try BOG or not? I am a little doubtful--but hoping Disney is pushing 'holiday season' so they will not be bombarded with disappointed guests if they hit a snag! I am thinking that since the Christmas Parties will be started so that may be a point in our favor-the parks are decorated for Christmas!!! They can't get more holiday than that! LOL! Here's hoping!

I'm thinking the same thing — also doubtful but hoping. Maybe a soft opening by that first MVMCP night? It's terrible having to wait until August to even get an idea when the official opening will be...

Ahk! Slower moving?! I just found out about this from the fb page and it's already on page 3! (My name's Tami on fb.)

I'm arriving on the 1st, you have me listed but not my resort. We'll be at AoA in a Nemo suite.

It's my family's 1st vacation anywhere, kids' 1st time in a hotel and Disney. My in-laws are joining us for 3 days then taking my daughter back home with them while DH and I stay 2 more days with my DSs. We're so excited! We'll be celebrating my boys' 5th b-day. We've been saving to go to Disney when they were 5 since they were born (seriously!). I haven't stayed on property since I was 2, my DH has never stayed on property. Did I mention that we're excited?!!!! :yay:

Yay to all of that!!!!

I got to see Brave today. I was iffy because I heard from many that it wasn't good. I am happy to say it was much better than I expected. I even got teary eyed at the end. I'm so glad we did end going to see it.

I'll go through tomorrow and add any one who hasn't been already to the front page. I also want to get more posted on the info links...and I am in the process of trying to finish up my most recent TR..so it might take awhile...but I'll get something added tomorrow.

If you have any suggestions to things you would like added, let me know.

I loved the mother-daughter storyline. So much better than the usual princess story!

My DS8 wants to get a sweatshirt to have autographed this year. Has anyone done this? I read that they won't sign it if he's wearing it. Any ideas on a design for it or should I monogram with WDW and the date, etc?

Just wanted to pop in to say hi. I'm trying to keep up with both threads now. Hope everyone is doing well.

We are LM as of now, but debating going suite if/when we get FD. Don't know for sure though :confused3.

My thought is this; we would probably end up spending the about same amount for suite w/ FD as we are for the LM room and no FD. However, as cool as the suite would be, I don't know if it would be better to just take the savings, or upgrading. (Plus, being the only pink in my house of blue.... I kinda think the LM room looks really cool!!)

As it is we are already going to be on a 15 day vacation!!! :yay: We have 10 days at WDW, then go directly to a 5 day Bahama cruise (and do have separate connecting staterooms for that- so there will be some separation from the munchkins for part of the trip no matter what ;)). In our past experience, the kiddos crash out immediately when we get back to the room, and all being in same room has never been a problem- get them bathed and in bed, then we can take our showers, and have an adult beverage (or two) while watching some TV, and they are crashed out hard in the other bed!

I just wanted to pop in and say "hi" to all you November travelers. We did our first Disney trip last November (tues-tues before Thanksgiving) and it was MARVELOUS. Spectacular weather and no crowd issues at all. As a matter of fact, my husband who is not a huge Disney fan, said "if" we ever go back he'd for sure only do it if we went the same week. He agreed that I picked the perfect time.
Anyway...I don't have a trip planned right now...though I did receive the Minnie Mouse pin and it's SUPER tempting to book FD for the same week in Nov. that we love. However...a trip to Alaska and other financial stuff in the way this year. I wish I could give my PIN to one of ya'll that is going!
So...I just wanted to let all you November folks know that you're picking a great time to go. Have fun and I'm soooo jealous!

I'm not sure about signing while wearing it. I have seen hats signed...but of course they take them off. Be sure to use fabric markers though.

I did too. Very different from what I expected.

I am slowly but surely updating the first page to include links to the various resorts we are all staying at. many on the list do not have which resort they are staying at, so if you notice yours isn't there, I will try and get that up. I only have a couple up right now, but will be adding more...it is time consuming.

DH and I will be there October 28 - November 3. Staying at Beach Club, celebrating our 25th (which is actually Nov. 7)!

Congrats! Must be a good day to have been married, as that is our anniversary as well! 14 yrs this Nov.

Joining in :goodvibes Im so glad to have another thread too. All of that late November talk and the waiting on BoG could make it too tempting to switch dates :rotfl2:

Anyway you already have me listed but I need to update our info. Was lucky enough to receive the FD pin and flights were crazy so ended up adding days on both ends to make it all work. But thats never a bad thing is it :rolleyes1

So now we will be 11/1 - 11/12 at Poly and we are doing MNSSHP 11/2 and MVMCP 11/9 :dance3:

We're doing the same parties! I think it's going to be amazing to do both parties in one trip.

I'm hoping to go today. I heard some meh comments, but I like figuring it out myself.

I think a neat idea for a design would a huge group of characters on the front with the date.

Don't forget a clip board or a hoop to keep fabric taut for easy signing. The character won't sign while wearing it I've read.

We've done the MNSSHP and loved it. This was planned to be our first Xmas trip :santa: but i just could not resist starting with one holiday and finishing with another :rolleyes1

I'll be sure to add you!

Thats a good idea. I'll add those in the first post.

OK, I'll add you too!

Cool! Thanks! :thumbsup2

I think your link isn't right, because it gives me an error.

Strange that it wasn't working...but I see you found it anyway. I just tried it and it seems to be okay now, so I'm not sure what happened. :confused3

So, do y'all think we will get a chance to try BOG or not?
I kind of doubt we'll get to eat there on our trip, but it would be AWESOME if we could. I'm thinking it will open for Thanksgiving, but I'm secretly hoping that by the "holidays" they mean it will be open for MNSSHP :rolleyes1

So, here is a question/idea I have been rolling around in my head :rotfl:. We are going to WDW to celebrate DD's third bday. I have planned everything with that and have been talking about all the things to do with her but we are also taking both set's of parents with us. Both of which will be celebrating their anniversary in the month of Nov. Neither are while we are there but very close to the dates. Should I do something to celebrate these as well? If so what? A special dinner alone wouldn't work because they both want to spend as much time with DD as possible. I just really want to make this trip extra special! I don't know many people that go on vacay with both sets of parents and this may be our only trip like this with them so I am trying to plan all I can! LOL!

Maybe book them on a tour together on two different occasions...maybe Behind the Seeds and something else? That way both sets of grandparents will get a chance to spend some time with their granddaughter. Other than that the only thing I could suggest would be a cake or to get something delivered from the Disney Florist place.

I think that's awesome! It looks great so far!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you for all the time you put in for all of us:goodvibes Much appreciated :thumbsup2

I was just playing on the Laughing Place site. Has a neat feature that calculates travel options and times for wdw. Does anyone now how accurate this is though??

This is what I get from Poly to Epcot -

Walk to Transportation & Ticket Center
Transfer to Monorail to Epcot®
Estimated Time: 40 minutes

40 minutes :scared: That cant be right can it??:confused3
