Hi--Next Sunday, I'll be taking a Keys to the Kingdom tour. Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 that morning. My tour is at 8:30 and I have to be checked in for it by 8:15. The CM that took my reservation said that there might not be a direct bus running that early and that I may have to take a bus to the TTC and then monorail or ferry to the park. Does anyone know for sure? I'll have to plan extra travel time if I have to go to the TTC. Thanks!

The buses should start running around 7:30 am (I'm assuming you're staying at a Disney resort). We had this same situation with a Segway tour at Epcot. We were at the bus stop by 7:30 and a bus arrived almost instantly. We arrived at Epcot early and had to wait till about 8:00 before being admitted to check in for our tour. The CMs at the front gate had our names on a list.

*A thought just occured to me. Someone else may know if this will work. I wonder if you could take a taxi to the Contemporary and then walk over to MK. :confused3 This might work if you wait for a MK bus and none show up in time (which I doubt).

Disney has transportation available for early morning breakfasts, tours, etc.

Just be out at the bus stop of your resort 45-50 minutes before you need to be where you need to be (that sounds like a Yogiism :teeth: ) and a bus will get you there.

FYI, busses to the MK start about 6:30AM. The busses for the other parks start about 7AM.

That's what I thought (it's not THAT much earlier than MK opens), but the CM had me worried. Thanks for your replies!

I hate to have to say this again......NEVER listen to any transportation info from any Cast Member on the phone or in person. I wish Disney would take this seriously and train their people better. All CM (except the bus drivers)give out so much bad info on transportation. Thank goodness for this board!!!!!
As already stated, there are early buses every day that start anywhere from 6am -7am depending on the first scheduled breakfast for that day.

ps....none of these buses (or any other for that matter) drops off at the TTC.
You are taken directly to the park or (if time allows) to a resort like the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's.
