Early Morning Transfers

We are staying at POR and have a 7:30 AM Priority Seating at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian (gotta have the TONGA TOAST!). We estimate about 30-45 minutes for transfers, but are the busses running at 6:45 am? Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to get to the Polynesian from POR at that time in the morning? FYI, our PS date is 12/3/02, after the Thanksgiving holiday rush.

Tuesday is early entry day for MGM, so you might be able to get a bus to MGM and then transfer to bus for the Polynesian. But since MGM wouldn't be opening until 8, I don't know that buses would be going at 6:45.

The safest and probably fastest way would be to take a cab, probably.

Does anyone else know more specifically?

You may be able to catch a ride on the early morning "Character Breakfast" bus. These are special buses that start running at 7 a.m. and take on site resort guests to the parks/other resorts for their early morning character breakfast PS. Ask at check in or at your resort's Guest Services Desk.

If that doesn't work out, my advice is to take a taxi. It won't take much more than 10 minutes and should cost about $12.
