Early morning CBR to Poly

We'd like to go from CBR to Poly for breakfast on a day with EMH at MK so ideally would like to arrive at Poly around 7 am. What would be the best way to do this? Take a bus to MK and the monorail from there to resort?

To get there by 7, you might want to look into taking a cab. I think the busses start running around 6:30 am, so that wouldn't give you a lot of time to go from MK to the Poly. I just know that we have gone to Kona for breakfast on non-emh mornings and it took some time to get from MK to the Poly that early.

We stayed at cbr last fall and had three same problem, except we were going to chef Mickeys. I had heard on here that there is a breakfast bus, but i didn't know what time it started. Unfortunately, I can't remember for sure, i think it was 630. So, we went to see the concierge she gave us all of the info. I asked her to call the restaurant and tell them we may be late, but she said they are understanding of the early morning reservations. She also told us if the bus didn't show in time they would give us a cab slip. So, i would recommend talking to the concierge the night before.

The buses start running every morning by 6:30..so if you decide to go the bus route, be out at the MK bus stop by 6:20. that way you'll be on the first bus.
But, here's the issue, the monorail doesn't start running until 7am. Even if you got on the first monorail run, at the MK, you wouldn't get to the Polynesian until 7:20ish.
If you mention that you need to get to the Polynesian for 7am, to the bus driver, you 'might' get lucky and he 'might' offer to drop you off at the Polynesian after he leaves the MK....maybe.
I would just take a cab over. Around 6:40ish, go to the Luggage Assistence desk or the front counter at your resort. Tell them you need a cab to get you over to the Polynesian. One of two things may happen. 1. they call you a cab or 2. they offer to drive you themselves! That has happened to me a few times. Just be sure to tip them heavily!!! I usually give them a $10 bill!

Thanks for the info. I should have been more specific though in my question. We actually don't have a breakfast reservation (cutting way down on tableservice meals this trip) but as we are flying in from overseas the night before I expect we will be up before 5 am. I thought instead of just sitting around the room at CBR we would go and get some breakfast at Captain Cooks at the Poly. So it doesn't really matter whether we are there right at 7 - just want to make sure we are done eating in time to be at MK when they open at 8 am.

If the monorail starts running at 7 we are good. Could we walk to the Poly? Don't think so but seem to remember that you can walk from the Poly to TTC.

You can walk from the TTC to the Poly, but that won't help in your situation. The bus from the CBR to the MK will drop you at the bus depot over by the park, not at the TTC, and walking from the MK to the Poly is not an option.
