I was thinking of either an early May or early June trip next year. Since we've never been in that time not sure which would be best crowd wise ? Know it's considered regular season. What AP or FL resident rates can I expect to pay for either Pop or CBR ? Which would anyone recommend ? It'll be just me, my dh & 2 1/2 year old DS. :bounce:

We're going the first week of June. Right before the Fl Res Seasonal pass blackout dates. We went last year about the same time. The crowds were pretty light. MK got crowded around 1PM but I don't remember any other bad days. I can't help with the rates, we're renting points.

I would go the first week of May, if you can. It will be cooler and less crowded.

We went the first week of June this year, and it wasn't too bad, except for the Magic Kingdom. It was very crowded most days. Be aware that it's Gay Week in Orlando and the MK will be filled to capacity on MK's Gay Day (usually the first Saturday in June.)

I would go the first of May, as you know most of the schools here in Florida start getting out between May 20-May25 so you would have a jump on all of us Floridians that have to wait until the end of May or first of June before the blackout dates start.

Plus the weather at the first of May is the best that we have in Florida, warm days without the humidity and cool nights perfect Disney Weather. We love the first two weeks in May. Simular to the other best time to visit...the last week weeks in October.

For Regular Season the Florida resident rates should be close to the offer going on now for Oct. Values for $49.00+tax, Moderate $79.00+tax a night.

We have done both and love both times. However, May had less heat, less crowds and we had an amazing time! So...next time we are going in May!

I would also push for May which is what I think we're going to do next year. We were there the first week of June this year, it was extremely busy (maybe due to the Gayday's week so the parks were packed and they had some major festivities going on even after park closings).

Since we had rescheduled our trip from a week prior because dd was sick I could barely get any PS's at many of the restaurants. I even tried for cancellations the day before or same day with no luck. (places like Chef Mickey, O'Hana, Yachtsman, Cape May, etc)

And, it was HOT!! Uncomfortably, miserably hot. Even as a South Floridian I thought it was very hot plus we had a lot of storms in the afternoon. I just won't go back during this time again. Will definitely try May this year and won't return until Oct. after that:p
