Early June?

Well, we just passed ROFR on our first 250 for VWL and I'm very excited about DVC. Here's the thing, I am selling my business on May 16 and am offering the buyer two weeks training. He is a very demanding person, so I figure I will need to leave town at the end of those two weeks as it will be the only way to avoid being paged/called and overall badgered by him. This means I will be FREE on May 30. Assuming the closing goes as planned, when should I be able to start making reservations (April 2005 UY) and where could I possibly get a reservation on such short notice for the first of June? I'm willing to start in a studio this trip, it's only myself, DW, DS-5 and DD-9months. I just need to get away. I'm also willing to take a beach vacation (though I assume those are already sold) but, I've been looking forward to going back to Disney World for over five years!
Also, how bad will the parks be first of June? Will the lines be ridiculous? I prefer to go in the fall and that's the plan as well. But this just fell in my lap, and I thought that the DVC sounded like a great exit strategy.

I am not sure how hard it will be for you to get in at that time. But, we go every year the very end of May into the first of June and love it.

The MK so far has been the only park that has been what we would consider crowded and if you do it smart (EMH) leave late morning for a resort break or to a different park it is very doable.

It will be warm, and please don't be surprised by the soaking rain shower that Florida gets every afternoon during this time period.

Use fast pass, drink water and have some patience and a great sense of humor and you will be fine.

We have noticed that the later in the month the more the crowds increase as well.

The first week in June is Gay Pride week down there. In the past they had over 100,000 people there to celebrate.
