Early June vs Late July

I know this question has been asked a hundred times with a hundred different variables but here goes anyway. First, what are the crowds like during both of these times, the June dates would be starting on the 9th so i think we would avoid the large crowds during the beginning of the month. We have previously gone in late april and early december and had good luck with crowds. What are average wait times without fastpass (just to get an idea) during these two times. What is the weather like other than hot ( last may was very hot too). Should we expect more rain during one time or another.

Thanks for any input you can provide

I think I can help you. We went in early June and mid July and I have to say it was better in June. Not nearly as hot or crowded. A lot of the schools are just letting out in early June but by July EVERYONE is at the parks!

It rained a little on us both times but we took our Dollar Tree ponchos (2 for $1.00) and kept right on going!;)

Without fast pass, June was about 20-45 minutes for line waits(the longer being the more popular rides). But, it didn't bother us as we remembered July was a lot of the times 60 minutes or over!!

If you could go just one week earlier in June, it may be a little better crowdwise. Although, the first week in June there are still some Gay Pride activities going on. But, we went the 3rd-the 9th and NEVER saw anything that we felt was uncomfortable for us to see.

Ditto. We've gone mostly in September/Oct. or June. We moved our trip to June 6-10 and expect from our past experience to have very manageable line (10-15 w/o FP except for major attractions). Gay week has it's moments mostly because it's a younger crowd. Young people seem to be a little more self-involved. But outside of Pleasure Island (avoid it Friday and Saturday nights during this time), I've seen nothing during Gay Week that offended me. Hope I didn't offend them!

Went in July once. One word: don't.

I have been both in June, July and every other month and I have come up with my own theory about how to travel in each season/month. But first I will tell you that June is less crowded then July as you said but both are equal in rain fall (in my experience) but don't let the rain bother you, when it rains people run for cover giving you a shorter line for rides. My theory is... if you travel in a busier season you need to stay longer and be more relaxed about how you move through the parks. If you are going at a slower time of the year then you "don't have" to stay as long in order to accomplish a lot. Of course there is my other theory about not staying less then 12 days every time you visit! but thats a different story.
