Thinking of planning a trip to DLR June 5 - 9, 2015 right after DD gets out of school. We go to WDW quite frequently, but I can't seem to find the crowd predictor/"best time to go" info that seems to be everywhere for WDW. Planning to get 3 day hopper tickets and stay at the Fairfield Marriott across the street on points. We are just go with the flow tourers, although that's getting harder & harder to do at WDW with FP+ now. Does DLR have that as well?

Trying to figure out how to plan or how much planning I'm going to need to do.

This past summer we went the 2nd week of June. We found the crowds to be lighter than our early August trip the previous year but heavier than the fall trips we used to take. For rides our longest wait was 30 minutes for Gadgets go coaster I believe. We utilized Fast Pass as much as possible. We had 2 days with Grad nights. We stayed in DCA during the day on these days and hopped over to DL in the evenings when most of the grads were making their way over to DCA. I know some folks avoid grad nights but we didn't have any issues with the grads. Next summer we'll be going May 30-June 5 as soon as DD gets out of school since thats the last week before our APs expire.

We stay at the Hojo which is one property further away than where you'll be staying. You'll find the walk to the parks to be under 10 minutes. We too are go with the flow type planners and we did just fine. And to answer your question, No DL does not have Fastpass+. We did make dining reservations for Goofy's Kitchen on our arrival night and Breakfast with Minnie and Friends on our last park day. I planned which days we would start out in which parks and what time we wanted to get there but that was really it. Our plans would develop according to fastpass schedules and the wishes of our kids.

Thank you!!! That's very helpful info!!!

This year there was a So Cal ticket deal that ran through the first week in June. The lower level APs weren't blocked that first week and it was pretty miserable. Otherwise it's hard to gauge June crowds next year without knowing the actual start dates for the 60th and the extent of what they're planning.

In 2013 we did June 9th - 11th. The crowds were moderately heavy, but nothing like you'd see in July or Christmas time. On the 9th we had fantastic June Gloom in the morning, only that was the day we wanted to spend at the Disneyland Hotel pool! Oh, well.
