Early check-in

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I want to make sure.

We have a trip planned for long weekend in May and we will be staying off property on that Friday night and checking into BLT on Saturday. We would like to go to the AM EMH at DHS (SWW) on Saturday but will we be able to since we won't technically have a room yet? We would like to check into BLT that Sat. morning around 6:30ish so that we can be at DHS as soon as possible. We've checked in early before to get our DDP credits but never super early.

So my question is would we be able to check in around 6:30am and would we be able to take advantage of the AM EMH at DHS? TIA!

yep! You just probably won't have a room yet!

Definitely.....we have done this. Disney will just store your luggage get you all checked in and we had them call our cell when we had a room ready.

In December we stayed a value and then transfered to OKW. We drove so we had our bags in the vehicle but bell services will hold them for you and transfer them from Disney properties if you want. At check in around 10:00 AM they offered to call or sent us a text message while we went to the parks. We went back to the resort about 3:50 and asked if the room was ready? They scrambled around for a couple of minutes and sent us on our way. At 4:05 we got the text saying the room was ready. I wouldn't figure on early check in.

This should work for EMH.

When you check in your passes are good for that day. You physically being in your room should not figure in at all.

We arrived at many resorts- DVC - that early AND got a room. It just depends on how full they are and your room type. We always drive from SC to Florida and stay with friends right outside of Universal. We get up and have b'fast with them and head immediately over to The World. Once we couldn't get a room and another time the guy was so nice that we not only got the room at early, but were upgraded.

Yup! The resort was not at capacity and they offered it to us. It has only happened once, and probably won't happen again, but at least I can say it happened!!!

In September we stayed at POP for cash for 2 nights before transferring to BLT for 6 nights on points. We left POP at 8am (and left our suitcases in our room for transfer) and checked in at BLT at 8.45am and our room was ready!

We hadn't left a request (we had booked BLT LV) and it was only 5 weeks since BLT opened but we were thrilled to have our room so early. As we are from the UK and were still on UK time (5 hours ahead) it meant we could visit MK straight away and still come back for a rest at lunchtime - this was priceless to us!!

You can check in after the check in system rolls over to the next day. Usually it's between 6:00 and 6:30 AM. Only once were we told to come back later when we tried to check in at 7:00.
