Early Check In???

We are arriving at our resort in May around 10-10:30. What are the chances of an early check in? We are staying at the Pop Century.

We checked in at CSR at 6:30 A.M. in January. We could check in, but our room wasn't ready until 1 in the afternoon. You might be luckier than we were.

I checked in to ASMu on Dec 15 at 10:00 and my room was ready! I am hoping my room in POP is ready when we arrive May 9th. We will probably get in at around 8:30 - 9:00 am. I dont expect it to be ready but it would be nice. We are will be going to DHS right after we check in anyways. I just like to put all our luggage in the room before we head out to the parks.

To check in and actually get your room assignment probably changes on a day by day basis because it also depends on how many people check out early enough that mousekeeping can get the rooms cleaned and ready for the next guests. I've noticed if people leaving have a later flight they tend to not check out of their rooms until last minute at 11AM (or up to one o'clock if they have asked for and been allowed late check out).

We stayed at POP on our last two trips and have arrived around 10:30am each time. Our rooms were ready on both occasions. Hope you have the same luck!

Just a note: We used ME both times, so our luggage took a little longer to get to the room. If you plan on hitting the pool or parks right away, make sure you bring a carry-on bag with your essentials.

You can certainly check in at that time. But are you thinking that because you can check in, that your room will be ready? The way Disney does check ins is you check in. If your assigned room is not ready at that time, you'll be given a phone number to call (they say after 3:00 but you can try earlier than that) for your room number. At check in, you[ll be given all your information and room keys - just not the room number. After you call back, you just have to go to your room.

We try and check in right after the check out time of 11:00. Most of the time, our room is not ready. We are always prepared to head straight to the parks and call back for the room number. If we get lucky, we are happy, if not, we are prepared.

we really lucked out this past Christmas trip. we checked into Boardwalk at 8am, our room was ready at 10:30am.
we checked into Beach Club at 8:30 am, 2 days before Christmas and our room was already ready!!

We were not lucky at either the GF or FQ. Our rooms were not ready either time.

Last April at FQ, I had to hold my sleeping toddler in the lobby for 2 hours waiting for our room. She fell asleep on ME and we assumed they would find us a room, but no luck.

We're hoping for better luck at Pop this year but we will be prepared this time not be able to get in until 3.

I get in at 6AM to MCO, we're checkin' and going straight GF for breakfast! Then off to DHS!

I always go right to check in and hope the room is ready! If not at least I can have my room keys on me and call back for the room number when ready! It's convienent! And since you don't have to worry about luggage you can go wherever you like! Just make sure as others have stated to bring a carry all bag with everything you may need until your luggage arrives! It can be quite a few hours after your arrival in some instances! especially if it's a busy time! If youre prepared you will be fine!

We are taking a red eye from Washington state in September and will arrive at POP around 9:00 am. I am hoping that we will get a room. It will just be for one night and then we are switching to POR. We are willing to take anything available and hope that will help us get in to a room early.
